Tu Xingzhe, mayor of Chiayi, said that the municipal government sought subsidies from the Water Conservancy Department of the Ministry of Economic Affairs to handle the second phase of the expansion of fountain facilities in Lantan Scenic area, which was completed before the Lunar New year, in the hope of providing people with a good place for the Spring Festival.

Lantan Music Fountain enhances night music and lighting effects, launching 8 different performances, including 35 water jets, one giant, seagull water dance, twist rotation, left and right swing, crown water dance, arch fountain and left and right swing water dance and other rich visual sound and light feast, it is expected to become a new scenic spot in Yunjiannan!

The fountain facility is close to Yue Ying Tan Xin. The performance will be performed hourly from 06:30 to 09:30 to tie in with the departure time of the bus route. The bus of Lantan Line (Urban No. 1) leaves from the rear railway station transfer center, passes through the railway station and other transportation hubs, and passes through the Cultural Road Night Market. The stop in Lantan is opposite Yueying Tanxin. It is quite convenient to get off.

The Transport and Tourism Office stressed that in order to serve the public by public transport, since its official opening on February 3, buses on the Lantan Line (Urban No.1) will increase the frequency of return trips at night, and vehicles will be flexibly deployed at any time depending on the number of passengers. People all over the country are welcome to take the city bus and have a heart-to-heart talk with the Moon Shadow on the bank of the pool with the company of the water dance.
