The 9-day continuous Spring Festival holiday has just ended, although affected by the earthquake, tourists to various recreational attractions and temples in Tainan are still enthusiastic. according to statistics, a total of 7.15 million of the 9-day holidays of the Spring Festival this year, tourists come to Tainan because the number of days of annual leave varies every year. Compared with the same period of the six-day Spring Festival holiday last year, the number of tourists from New Year's Eve to the fifth day of junior high school this year decreased by about 4%, among which the number of tourists from recreational spots was obviously affected by the earthquake. On the other hand, the number of people praying for blessings in temples increased significantly.

Although there are a small number of check-out cases affected by the earthquake, most of the hotels are still full, and the reservation rate of hotels and accommodation is still more than 90%, especially from the first to the fourth year of junior high school. The Tourism Bureau specially thanked the hostel operators for providing short-term resettlement, rest, meals and toilet for the victims during the disaster relief period. More than 26 operators enthusiastically joined the ranks through the tourism and accommodation system in just one day. At present, more than 100 people have been placed and thousands of related services have been provided.

This year, there are a large number of tourists at Nanying Lvdu Xin, Xiaolong Cultural Park, Beimen, Anping, Saline Yuejin Port Lantern Festival, Tainan Metropolitan Park, Qigu Yanshan, Qimei Museum, Guanziling Hot Spring area, Nan Ying Master Art Center, Chijinlou and other scenic spots.

Tainan Tourism Bureau said that although the Spring Festival holiday is temporarily over, ongoing activities include 2016 Southern hundred Flowers Festival (to 2x25), saltwater Yuejin Hong Kong Lantern Festival (to 2max 28), saltwater bee cannon (2pm 21-22), Lantern Festival at Notre Dame Temple in Luermen (2pm 20), Taiwan year Culture season at Luermen Tien Hou Palace (to 2x20), etc., all Spring Festival activities will last until Lantern Festival.
