Xinguang Bank's digital financial business was awarded ISO 27001 Information Security Certification

New Light Bank has been approved by the British Standards Institute (BSI), the ISO verification body, and passed the international certification of ISO 27001ISO 2013 Information Security Management system (ISMS). The certification ceremony was held on March 10, 105. The General Manager of the British Standards Institute (BSI) Taiwan Branch presented the certificate, and Xie Changrong, General Manager of New Light Bank, received the certificate on behalf of the Bank. This certification confirms that the information security management system of Xinguang Bank is in line with international information security standards.

Xinguang Bank attaches great importance to information security protection. In recent years, it has built various information security management and control systems one after another. In addition to protecting against external malicious intrusions, it also actively strengthens internal controls and establishes more excellent protection mechanisms. Information units have introduced the information security management system of ISO 27001, which has undergone extremely rigorous pre-evaluation, written check, on-site check and other verification procedures of BSI. A few days ago, it successfully passed the certification review of ISO 27001Blol 2013 information security management system, and achieved the information security management goal of "confidentiality", "integrity" and "availability".

Xinguang Financial Control actively responded to the Financial Management Commission's promotion of digital financial plan, revealing that "Digital Xinguang" is the main axis of the 105-year strategy. In July last year, Xinguang Bank was the first wave of banks to complete the first phase of Bank 3.0 with 12 low-risk businesses online, launching cloud-based services such as applying for personal loans, credit cards and trust accounts. In January this year, it added ATM inter-bank deposits and opened online accounts.

While continuously launching new IT financial services, through ISO27001 information security certification, customers can also ensure a secure trading environment. Zhang Guangzu, General Manager and Chief Information Officer of Xie Changrong, stressed: digital security is the core competitiveness of the financial industry in the face of the Bank 3.0 digital wave, and Xinguang Bank will continue to strive to provide customers with faster and more convenient digital financial services under a strict capital security system.

In addition, Chunghwa Telecom's information security consultant team spent nearly two years assisting Xinguang Bank in reviewing all business information processing processes, strengthening system and network management, establishing system development processes, designing security control mechanisms, implementing standard operating procedures, and more than 1500 security control projects. Members of Chunghwa Telecom's Zi Security team have more than 35 categories and more than 210 Zi Security professional licenses, covering Zi'an, network technology and management, such as CISSP, CEH, CHFI, CompTIA Security+, etc., proving Chunghwa Telecom's strength and energy of long-term hard work in the field of IT Security.
