Frozen water. Irrigation of frozen water once before soil freezing in the middle and late November can increase the cold resistance of trees and reduce the occurrence of shooting and freezing injury.

The trunk is painted white. White coating agent commonly used formula: water 30 parts, quicklime 9 parts, stone sulfur mixture stock solution 1 . 5 parts, salt 1. 5 parts, animal and vegetable oil 0. 5, 1 tree general.

Burial. ( 1) Buried soil method. The tree body will be gently pressed forward flat on the ground, tied with a bundle of straw rope, directly covered with soil, the thickness of 40cm is appropriate. ( 2) Underground burial method. Digging ditches between rows, the size of the ditch is determined by the overwhelming tree body, the main and lateral branches are tied on the central trunk and placed into the ditch to cover the soil, and the soil thickness is 20cm higher than the ground. Buried soil method is only suitable for young trees aged 1 ~ 2 years.

Cold spray. Spraying new lipid film and tree general can form a protective film on the surface of trees, reduce transpiration and improve cold resistance. In the middle of February and the middle of March, spraying Cuhuawang No. 3 once respectively forced the nutrient flow back to the top tip to prevent shoot shooting, and the effect was remarkable.

Scientific winter shears. Cutting off part of autumn shoots during winter pruning can reduce water evaporation, improve the ability of branches to resist cold and drought, prevent Isatis indigotica from laying eggs on branches, so as to avoid shooting. The wound caused by pruning should be coated with callus antiseptic film in time to protect the wound healing tissue growth and prevent germs from infecting the wound.
