Interseedling radish likes light, and planting too dense is not conducive to the formation of fleshy roots. The first seedling should be carried out when the seedling height is 3 cm, and the seedling density should be 3-5 square cm; the second seedling should be kept at 7-10 cm, and 6-7 square cm; the third seedling should be fixed when the plant height is 15-20 cm, with 10 square centimeters, and the large variety should be 15-20 cm square, with 30-50 000 seedlings per seedling.

The growth period of topdressing radish is long, in addition to base fertilizer, topdressing should be applied for 2 to 3 times, but the amount of nitrogen fertilizer should be controlled, otherwise it is easy to cause excessive growth of leaves, affect the expansion of fleshy roots, and at the same time, topdressing should be sparse, otherwise it is easy to cause divergent roots. The first topdressing was carried out 20-25 days after seedling emergence and when the seedling age was 3-4 true leaves, using urea 2 kg, calcium superphosphate 3-4 kg, potassium chloride 2 kg per mu, plus a small amount of rotten human feces and urine, topdressing with 1500 kg water. The second topdressing was carried out 40-50 days after seedling emergence (after seedling setting), applying 4kg urea, 4kg calcium superphosphate, 3.5kg potassium chloride per mu, adding a small amount of rotten human feces and urine, and applying 1500 kg water.

Irrigated radish has small leaf area, less evaporation, developed root system, strong absorption and drought tolerance, but appropriate irrigation is needed in the dry season in summer and autumn, especially when the root is enlarged. Generally, the soil moisture should be kept at 60%-80%. If the water supply is insufficient, the fleshy root is thin and rough; if the water supply is uneven, dry and wet, it is easy to cause root cracking. Stop watering after the fleshy root is fully expanded to prevent the root from rotting.
