Liquid pesticides should be kept away from the source of fire to prevent contact with oxidants and alkaline substances. Generally, they should be placed in a cool and dry place with ventilation and sun protection, and the bottle mouth should be kept upward when storing. Do not store with strong oxidants such as nitrates and strong acids, and organic substances such as charcoal and paper scraps.

Bottled pesticides, caps and corks must be tightened to prevent volatilization and decomposition. Some pesticides have their own characteristics, such as phoxim and trifluralin EC are easy to decompose when exposed to light and heat, and should be stored in a dark and cool place; organophosphorus pesticides are easy to decompose and fail when exposed to alkali, so do not mix with alkaline substances during storage. Bottled liquid pesticides are easy to freeze at low temperature, forming blocks or cracking the bottles. it is best to use rice husks to keep warm and prevent freezing during storage.

Solid pesticides, pay attention to moisture-proof, use wood, cement board or sun-dried grain husk or wheat straw, rice straw and so on to lay the groundwork. Aerosol should not be stored with volatile, flammable and explosive materials, and the temperature should not exceed 30 ℃.

Gas pesticides, winter storage should not only prevent high temperature, but also should prevent violent collision, often check whether the valve is loose, there are gaps in the cylinder to prevent explosion.

Microbial pesticides should be preserved in a low-temperature and dry environment to prevent high temperature and humidity, and should not be preserved for more than 2 years.
