Due to the severe cold weather in winter, it brings a lot of inconvenience to the use and maintenance of agricultural machinery. The engine is not only difficult to start, but also fuel consumption will increase, so it is easy to produce freezing, so effective heat preservation and anti-freezing has become the key to improve the efficiency of agricultural machinery in the cold season.

? First, prevent frost cracking machine parts

1. At the end of the day, the throttle should run for a few minutes, and then turn off the engine and release cooling water after the temperature of the machine decreases. Pay attention to the operation of large throttle at full load, do not turn off the engine suddenly and release water immediately to prevent the body from cracking due to sudden cold. When releasing water, open the lid of the water tank and all the water discharge switches, and be sure to release it clean. Pay attention to releasing water not only in winter, but also in late autumn, early spring and cold wave, when the temperature is below 5 ℃.

two。 In the cold season, antifreeze should be added to the cooling water.

3. Release the water from the fuel tank regularly to strictly prevent the water from mixing into the diesel oil so as to prevent the diesel oil from freezing.

4. Properly increase the proportion of the battery electrolyte (up to 1.28 to 1.31), and use the method of supplementary charging to keep the battery in a fully charged state, so that the battery will not lose too much capacity and freeze the battery shell because of low temperature.

? Second, strengthen the heat preservation of the body

1. Tractors and other agricultural machinery should be parked in the garage as far as possible to prevent erosion and freezing by rain and snow.

two。 The method to start the engine is to preheat the engine in advance by adding about 60 ℃ of hot water to the cooling system, pause for a while, and then add hot water until the machine temperature reaches more than 40 ℃; release the lubricating oil, heat it with water and then inject it into the machine (note that you can not directly heat the oil pan with open fire); use the electric flame preheater for a short time.

3. Cover the insulation curtain and cover on the engine, and block the incoming wind with cardboard in front of the radiator if necessary.

4. Some engines are equipped with oil radiator, so the changeover switch should be turned on to the position of "winter" so that the oil does not flow through the oil radiator.
