Before and after the Spring Festival, many flower friends will buy some rich bamboos to raise at home, they are very suitable for indoor hydroponic plant maintenance, they have little need for light, can also grow well in low light indoor environment, keep warm and humid environment all year round can grow well.

How does the condition that leaves of rich and noble bamboo of hydroponic appear yellowing or withering want to solve? Many people cultivate rich bamboos because the environmental conditions for conservation are not too suitable, or they do not pay attention to pruning. The newly bought rich bamboos will have a lot of leaves. It is possible that the roots have not yet grown out, and some are even fresh rich bamboos that have just been cut down.

Do not leave too many leaves for the rich bamboo cultivated in hydroponic culture. It is enough to have a few leaves at the top. Too many leaves will cause very large nutrient consumption, which will easily yellow leaves and affect the rooting and germination at the bottom of the rhizome.

The location of the curing should be kept ventilated, there can be no light, but it is also necessary to keep the ambient light bright, have a certain air humidity, and avoid excessive drying.

If you find that the leaves of Fugui Bamboo are yellow, you must cut off these yellow leaves in time and break off most of the leaves at the bottom, so that you can retain more nutrients and promote rooting.

If you find rotten roots or rotten stems at the bottom of the rhizome, you must pull them up in time, clean them, cut off the rotten roots and rotten stems, soak them in potassium permanganate or carbendazim solution properly, and re-cultivate them after 5~10 minutes. Pay attention to the following maintenance techniques.

Step 1: Water Quality Attention

If you are cultivating rich bamboo directly with tap water, you should pay attention to changing the water. Tap water contains more fluorine-chlorine compounds, which will affect rooting.

Tap water can be stored in a container for 2 to 3 days before use, the chlorine inside will completely volatilize, you can also directly use well water, rainwater, etc.

Step 2: Curing Location

Avoid raising rich bamboo in a place where the temperature is too low or too high, do not put it next to large appliances, and do not put it next to heating or air conditioning, otherwise it is easy to induce yellow leaves.

Step 3: Check for pests

Maintenance of rich bamboo is rarely infected with diseases and insect pests, but also pay attention to regular inspection, if found leaves infected with leaf spots or other fungal diseases, to cut off the diseased leaves in time, you can properly pour some fungicides, timely prevention and control.

Found pests should also be killed in time, if it is a common aphid or scale insect, you can directly use cotton swab dipped in some alcohol smear to remove.

Step 4: Change water in time

If it is not rooted, it generally takes 2 to 3 days to change the water, which can keep the water fresh and active, which is beneficial to promote rooting.

Of course, the rich bamboo that has taken root does not need to change the water frequently. It can wait for the water to become turbid before changing the water. Maintenance becomes very easy.

Step 5: Light Intensity

Maintenance of rich bamboo to avoid excessive exposure, of course, can not be raised in a completely shaded environment, hydroponic maintenance of rich bamboo generally only need to be raised in a bright environment can grow well.

If the container for hydroponic maintenance is transparent, it cannot give sunlight. It is ok to keep the light bright in the indoor shade. If the container surface is exposed to too much sunlight, it is easy to grow green algae. In severe cases, the roots in the water will also grow green algae, which will cause the roots to be unable to absorb oxygen and eventually lead to decay. Growing in the dark will cause the leaves to dull and yellow.

Step 6: Pay attention to fertilization

Whether it is hydroponic maintenance or soil culture maintenance of rich bamboo, need to regularly give a little thin fertilizer, of course, in the growing season fertilization, each time the concentration can not be too large, frequency can not be too fast, in spring, summer and autumn can be 3~5 weeks to give a thin organic liquid fertilizer.

Step 7: Regular pruning

If withered stems are found, they should be cut off in time to avoid consuming too much nutrients and avoid infection with fungal diseases. Withered leaves and yellow diseased leaves should also be cut off in time.
