The Ministry of Economic Affairs connects with ASEAN to help Taiwan businessmen win the Thai market.

Director of the Investment Business Office of the Ministry of Economic Affairs, Jade Kui, led the "Taiwan-Thailand Investment Cooperation Promotion delegation" to visit Thailand from April 25 to April 30 this (105) year. There are 19 members of the delegation, including auto parts, energy saving and automation manufacturers such as China Motor, Dibao, Chenglong and Jabang. By visiting local industrial zones and automobile manufacturers, they can understand the local investment environment and how to integrate into the local industrial supply chain. It will also assist energy-saving and automation operators to export and drive export opportunities.

The Investment Operations Department of the Ministry of Economic Affairs pointed out that ASEAN has become a new force in Asia. In order to help Taiwan businessmen grasp the business opportunities in the ASEAN market, the Investment Operations Department of the Ministry of Economic Affairs has promoted the "ASEAN Strategic Partnership Plan" for the first time this year. Combined with the close interaction between the official and non-governmental sectors of China and ASEAN, we will establish a diversified partnership to help Taiwan businessmen upgrade their overseas industries and expand business opportunities.

The Investment Business Office of the Ministry of Economic Affairs further said that the economic and trade relations between Taiwan and Thailand have always been close. At present, China is already the third largest foreign investment in Thailand. In order to actively attract foreign investment and promote a number of preferential measures, if Taiwan businessmen can make use of Thailand's advantageous layout, it will help Chinese businessmen to expand the ASEAN market.

Therefore, this year, the Investment Operations Office will take Thailand as the first target country of the investment cooperation promotion mission, and invite people from auto parts-related industries to visit Thailand. By holding a Taiwan-Thailand Investment Forum, an one-on-one business opportunity media association, calling on the Thai investment authorities, and visiting industrial zones and auto operators, the Investment Operations Office will help Taiwan businessmen grasp the new opportunities for the development of the Thai market.

In addition, it is also the first time to integrate the participation of Taiwan's energy-saving and automation industry, hoping to match the advantages of Taiwan's energy-saving and automation industry and the needs of Taiwan businessmen and local businessmen in Taiwan, and help Taiwan manufacturers to expand related services and equipment export opportunities.
