How to train breeding boars

The key to training boars is to arouse the sexual impulse of reserve boars as soon as possible and complete the process of semen collection. At the same time, due to the timidity of the reserve boar, some small scares or stimuli will affect the effect and efficiency of training, so special attention should be paid to minimize the distraction of boars, frightening boars and other stimulating factors that are not conducive to training.

The training of boars should be staggered in feeding time and carried out when the piggery is quiet. The time for each training of boars is between 20 and 30 minutes. If the training is not successful, it is best to try again after 3 days. The more times the reserve boar is trained, the more difficult it is to be trained, so do the work that should be done before each training and strive for success with the least number of times. The training site should be selected in the original reserve boar pen, and the movable fake sow platform should be used for training, and then transferred to the semen collection room after the training is successful.

Specific methods:

The training staff first teased the reserve boars outside the pen, and after 4-5 minutes, the reserve boars got excited, and then adjusted the fake sow platform to the lowest (it has been proved that the lower the fake sow platform, the more the reserve boars are willing to climb up). Gently put the fake sow platform into the backup boar pen, and the trainer amused the reserve boar, waiting for it to climb onto the fake sow platform, and briskly adjust the posture of the backup boar (remember not to push and pull). After stroking the boar prepuce and stimulating the backup boar penis to protrude, hold the protruding boar penis spiral glans with bare hands, bend and straighten the penis "S" along its forward force, and hold the penis glans tightly to prevent its rotation. When collecting semen, the head of the penis is held between the little finger and the ring finger, and the little finger loosens regularly to stimulate boar ejaculation. When the boar ejaculates completely and looks around, the semen collection is over.

For the boars that have just been trained, they should collect semen again the next day to consolidate their memory and prevent the boars from forgetting after a long interval. The kind of boar that trained semen but forgot to climb across the fake sow platform because it was not consolidated in time, the difficulty of re-training is much higher than that of the first time, so the consolidation of semen collection in the later stage is very necessary. It is recommended that you do it the second day, the fifth day, and finally once a week.

Under normal circumstances, boars can be trained by this training method. For boars that can not be trained, you can smear the semen of other boars on the fake sow platform, tease the boar nose with gloves that have just collected semen with the smell of other boars, touch the foreskin of the backup boar to stimulate its sexual impulse, and cover a piece of pig skin on the fake sow platform. It is not recommended to let the reserve boar climb the estrus sow to collect semen, and then train to climb the fake sow platform, because most reserve boars do not want to climb the fake sow platform after climbing over the sow.

For the boars that were not trained in the end, it was suggested that testosterone should be injected. Excluding boars with particularly excellent performance, in order to achieve the purpose of passing on their excellent genetic genes to offspring, the author thinks that it is not necessary from the point of view of boar use, because most of the barely trained boars have very low sexual desire. After formal semen collection, it will be found that it is very difficult to get on the fake sow platform, and most of the semen volume is not ideal, which does not have much retention value.
