1. Scientific feeding

To establish a set of standardized and scientific feeding method, according to the law of slow growth in the early stage, fast in the middle stage and slow in the later stage, in order to obtain higher feed reward, it is suggested to adopt the method of straight line fattening in order to shorten the feeding cycle and save feed. At the same time, the combination of fine, green and coarse feed should be carried out, and wet mix feeding should be carried out; in terms of feeding times, the system of three meals a day should be adopted to reduce the increase of energy consumption and feed dispersion loss due to repeated feeding to stimulate the movement of pigs. reduce feed utilization.

II. Scientific feeding

At present, in pig production, farmers generally only pay attention to the nutrition level of each kilogram of feed, and pay little attention to the daily feed dosage. Although the diet is prepared strictly according to its required nutrition level, because the daily feed dosage can not meet or exceed the nutrition needed for its growth and development, either prolong the feeding period, increase the share of maintenance needs, and reduce the feed utilization rate; or cause overeating, cause indigestion, resulting in invisible waste of feed. For this reason, while scientific proportioning, we must pay attention to the scientific feeding of feed quantity, in order to give full play to its weight gain potential and improve the utilization rate of feed. In general, the concentrate feeding amount of growing and finishing pigs is about 4% of the pig body weight, and the lean pigs can be fed according to 3.5% of their body weight after 60 kg; it can also be determined according to the expected daily gain and feed utilization rate (feed / weight gain), that is, daily gain (kg) / feed utilization rate (feed gain / feed) = daily feed intake (kg).

Third, do a good job in epidemic prevention

It is necessary to establish a long-term epidemic prevention mechanism, do a good job in vaccination of various epidemic diseases throughout the year, and do a good job in regular deworming, so as to minimize the incidence and improve the utilization rate of feed. In pig production, a considerable number of pigs suffer from chronic diseases and parasitic diseases and cause recessive feed waste every year. For this reason, pig breeding should do regular immunization and regular deworming to ensure the healthy growth of pigs and improve the utilization rate of feed.

4. Suitable temperature

The layout of the enclosure construction should be reasonable, and keep the enclosure clean and dry, which is beneficial to keep warm in winter and heat dissipation in summer, so as to create a comfortable growth environment for pigs, so as to reduce the occurrence of diseases, reduce maintenance consumption and improve feed utilization. The suitable temperature of pig house is 17-21 ℃, too high or too low will lead to lower utilization rate.

5. Timely slaughtering

The growth intensity of bone, lean meat and fat is different in different growth stages of pigs. In the early growth stage (before 60 kg), the bone and lean meat grew faster and the feed utilization rate was high, and then with the increase of age and body weight, fat grew more than lean meat, and the feed needed to grow 1 kg fat was more than 2 times higher than that needed to grow 1 kg lean meat. Therefore, the longer the feeding cycle, the heavier the body weight, and the lower the feed utilization rate.
