One is the birth pass. Within 10 days after birth, the young rabbits are naked and hairless, the thermoregulation ability is poor, and the ambient temperature is too high or too low may lead to death. During this period, the optimum temperature should be kept at 20-25 ℃.

The second is lactation. The colostrum of female rabbit not only contains rich nutrients such as protein and vitamins, but also contains a large number of immune antibodies. If newborn rabbits can eat enough colostrum, it can enhance their physique, improve disease resistance and reduce death.

The third is to replenish the material. Young rabbits grow rapidly and need more nutrients. After opening their eyes at the age of 12, breast milk alone can no longer meet the needs and must be replenished. From the 13th, first feed a small amount of tender grass and vegetables that are soft and digestible, and gradually add high-quality mixed feed.

Fourth, weaning. The young rabbits were weaned at the age of 30-35 days, and fed with forage with small size, easy digestion and high nutrition level. 2-4 in each cage.

Fifth, disease prevention. The diseases that do serious harm to young rabbits are coccidiosis, pasteurellosis, rabbit plague and so on. Therefore, it is necessary to carry out immunization and feed adding drugs to prevent disease as soon as possible, and do a good job in rabbit house and cage hygiene and regular disinfection every day.
