In winter, the leaves of Kyoho grape fall off one after another. From the outside, it seems that there is nothing wrong. In fact, there are many things that should be done at this time:

1. Seize the time to apply sufficient base fertilizer. Base fertilizer is mainly decomposed farm manure, supplemented by chemical fertilizer. Generally, 7-8 thousand kilograms of decomposed organic fertilizer, 10-20 kilograms of potassium chloride or potassium sulfate (preferably potassium sulfate), 50 kilograms of calcium superphosphate or calcium magnesium phosphate fertilizer are applied per mu. Do not add quick-acting chlorine fertilizer when applying base fertilizer.

2. Winter pruning. The winter shear of Kyoho grape is different from diploid grape such as white banana and Kangbai grape. Juvenile giant peaks, should be light cut long put, otherwise the next year prosperous long, aggravated flower drop, fruit drop. After pruning, the branches and vines should be tied to the frame surface in time according to the principle of forming the whole tree, and do not wait until spring to sprout.

3. Deepen the soil deeply. Combined with base fertilizer, the soil in the garden will be deep and mature, and at the same time organize the drainage system. It is best to improve the soil by spreading organic matter in conjunction with deep ploughing. This is good for root development and plant growth. For sticky yellow soil, it should be deeply ploughed and improved. If conditions permit, some residues or straw, husk residue, etc. can be put in deep ploughing soil to make the tillage layer loose and breathable and inhibit weed growth.

4. Clear the garden. The main thing is to remove the fallen leaves and weeds and burn them in a concentrated way (the fallen leaves cannot be used as fertilizer). Spray KYOHENG branches, stems and ground with Baume 5 degree sulfur mixture, and spray again with Baume 3 degree sulfur mixture when winter buds sprout at the end of February. This has a multiplier effect on disease prevention.

5. Winter irrigation. Winter irrigation can be carried out for gardens that are severely dry or that are quickly seeped out by applying organic base fertilizer. This not only dissolves organic fertilizer, so that fertilizer evenly penetrates into the soil, but also keeps the soil moist and improves the germination rate. Furrow irrigation is better for winter irrigation (water can naturally seep dry after flooding the flat surface), while water network land with high groundwater level may not be irrigated in winter.

6, to carry out surface finishing or other miscellaneous work. Huang Xinnan
