Founded in 1984, the Penghu Marine Resources Museum is not only the first professional exhibition hall in the county, but also an important stronghold for promoting Penghu marine culture and education. Through rich display resources and good visiting environment, preserve the local marine cultural characteristics of Penghu and improve the energy of marine life industry resources, so as to achieve the benefits of sustainable development of marine ecology and marine culture. However, after the passage of 20 years, it is necessary to update the display contents and techniques. Therefore, with the efforts of the Culture Bureau team, we strived for the funding of the Ministry of Culture's "Local Cultural Center subsidy Program" and obtained the full support of the county council. finally, the exhibition renewal project of the Marine Resources Museum was launched, and with rich and multi-directional display connotations, the integrity, education, interaction and interest of the museum were increased. At the same time, through the overall display space planning and design, enrich the dynamic audio-visual multimedia production and display teaching strengthening and other functions.

After the completion of the exhibition and renewal project, the opening event and reopening of the museum will be held at 08:20 on the meaningful day of "International Museum Day". In addition to the well-designed marine repertoire performance by the County "Baisha healthy Dance Association", the marine ecological educator Mr. Hong Guoxiong was also invited to act as the on-site guide. In addition, in order to increase the interaction of the exhibition hall, the Culture Bureau is more emotionally intelligent.
