1. The terrain is relatively high. Fattening cattle prefer dry environmental conditions, so cattle sites should choose higher terrain. If the terrain is slightly lower, the foundation fill can be raised when building the cowshed.

2. The meteorological conditions are suitable. It is necessary to understand the direction of the local main wind all the year round in order to design production areas, living areas and polluted areas. Understand the monthly average temperature in recent years, in order to consider the height of the barn, ventilation conditions, orientation, etc. Investigate the local precipitation in order to design the drainage.

3. Convenient transportation. The transportation volume of the cattle farm is relatively large, all kinds of feed and frame cattle transported to the cattle farm, and the wastes such as fattening cattle and manure are transported out of the cattle farm. Only with convenient transportation can we ensure the smooth progress and sustainable development of cattle farm production.

4. The construction area of the barn occupied by each cow is 30mur35m 2.

5. If it is close to the water source, it is best to take deep water (less than 100 meters) in the cattle farm or in a place close to 10mur20 meters from the cattle farm. The water consumption of each cow (30 liters of water per day, plus water for feed mixing, domestic water for feed managers, water for washing cattle trough, flushing tank, etc.) is designed according to 50 litres.

6. The electricity consumption of cattle farms should be guaranteed.

7. The cattle farm is required to keep dry, drainage should be quick in case of precipitation, and there can be no stagnant water in the cattle farm.

8. The condition of sewage discharge is good. No sewage can be accumulated in the cattle farm, and any sewage should be discharged as soon as possible.
