When the grafted cucumber seedlings were cultivated in greenhouse, the cucumber seeds should be sown 5 times earlier for 7 days, the pumpkin cotyledons flattened to the first true leaf half unfolded, and the cucumber with 2 leaves and 1 heart was the suitable time for grafting.

At present, there are three ways to raise cucumber seedlings by grafting in overwintering crops.

One is to plant cucumber and black-seeded pumpkin separately, dig out the seedlings during grafting, and then plant them in another border.

The other is that in the sand bed of cucumber seeds, black-seeded pumpkins are germinated and sowed in a nutrition bowl, and only cucumber seedlings are dug up during grafting, then the roots of cucumber seedlings are pseudo-planted on one side of the nutrition bowl and placed in the seedling bed for culture. it can be managed by moving the nutrition bowl according to the seedling condition, and the seedlings are easy to move and not easy to hurt the roots when planting.

The third is to sow pumpkin seeds directly on the ridge, dig up cucumber seedlings during grafting, and then pseudo-plant the roots of cucumber seedlings to one side of the ridge. Each of the three methods has its own advantages and disadvantages, and only requires skilled grafting technology to ensure the survival rate of grafting.

To do a good job after grafting, the temperature and humidity should be maintained at 25 ℃ and 95% in the first 3 days after grafting, and then the temperature and humidity should be reduced gradually. after grafting, the new high fat film should be sprayed in time to keep warm and moisturized, prevent disease and infection, improve the survival rate of grafting, and cultivate healthy seedlings.
