With the decrease of the temperature, in order to resist the cold, the demand for nutrition of sheep increases, and the management of sheep is more elaborate. A little carelessness may lead to sheep losing weight, miscarriage and even mass death. Therefore, the following points should be done well:

First, pay attention to keeping warm

The cold tolerance of sheep is relatively strong, but the winter sheep house should not be less than 0 ℃, the lamb house should not be less than 8 ℃, and the delivery room should be kept at 10: 18 ℃. Before the winter, the sheep shed should be overhauled as soon as possible, and the roof and walls should be repaired as necessary to prevent air and snow leakage. Closed sheepfold, should be in the door, window hanging wind grass curtain; simple sheep shed, can extend the eaves forward, set up a plastic greenhouse, the top covered with grass curtains. When the temperature is too low, you should light a stove in the enclosure to keep warm.

2. Adequate nutrition

Supply sheep with high-quality green hay and crop straw, and replenish soybean meal, corn, dried melon, wheat bran and other concentrate in a timely manner to ensure that each sheep can eat 200 grams of 250 grams of concentrate every day, and the rams and ewes reserved for breeding should be fed 500 grams of 600 grams of concentrate per day.

III. Supply of adequate drinking water

Provide 2-3 times of drinking water regularly every day, avoid drinking ice water, it is best to drink light salt water, the water temperature reaches about 18 ℃.

4. Males and ewes are raised separately

To prevent rams from chasing and climbing over pregnant ewes; pregnant ewes should have separate enclosures with wide doors and appropriate numbers to ensure that each pregnant sheep covers an area of 22.5 square meters to prevent pregnant sheep from being accidentally squeezed.

Do a good job in cleanliness and hygiene

Clean the enclosure, keep it clean and dry, remove feces in time, and carry out harmless treatment, the residue should be screened and treated, and those that have been contaminated can no longer be used. Pay attention to regularly brushing the body surface and coat of sheep to promote blood circulation and improve body health.
