First, the green feed should be collected and used now, and it is best to make appropriate preparation before use, such as cleaning, shredding, beating, etc., in order to facilitate the feeding and digestion of geese. The remaining grass pulp should not be used to feed the geese in case of nitrite poisoning.

Second, when using green feed, the changes of nutrient content and digestibility in different growth periods should be considered to achieve timely cutting. In addition, the water content of green feed is large, so some concentrate feed should be matched properly when feeding geese.

Third, legume forage with more diosgenin should not be fed too much, because too much diosgenin will inhibit the growth of goslings. Do not feed green fodder containing more oxalic acid, such as spinach and beet leaves, to prevent goslings from suffering from rickets or paralysis, and to prevent goose from laying thin-shell or soft-shell eggs.

Fourth, when grazing or collecting green feed, you should understand the characteristics of green feed and the situation of the growing place, and it is strictly forbidden to collect green feed or graze in poisonous or newly sprayed vegetable fields or grasslands to prevent goose poisoning.
