1. Eat enough colostrum in time. Colostrum is rich in nutrition and contains immunoglobulins. Rabbits should be allowed to eat full colostrum 4-6 hours after delivery to make them grow and develop fast and have a strong physique.

2. Adjust the foster rabbits. Some of the rabbits with more litters and those with insufficient breast milk are farmed to the female rabbits with good breast milk and few babies. If there are no female rabbits available for foster care, small and some male rabbits should be eliminated. When necessary, artificial breastfeeding can also be carried out.

3. Prevent "hanging milk". "hanging milk" means that the mother rabbit is suddenly frightened when she is breast-feeding and jumps out of the nest box and takes the baby rabbit out of the box. Therefore, it is necessary to keep the environment quiet and avoid the occurrence of "hanging milk".

4. Prevent "steaming nest". Baby rabbits always huddle against each other in front of each other, the exhaled water vapor makes the environment very humid, and the skin of the baby rabbit is thin and tender, which can easily cause skin rash or ulceration. Check frequently, change the wet cushion, and fiddle with the baby rabbit twice a day to evaporate the moisture between the skin and the skin.

5. Prevent rodent damage. One week after birth, young rabbits are vulnerable to rodents, and one mouse can kill several young rabbits in succession. The rabbit cage should be made more tightly to prevent rats from entering. Trapping and poisoning can be used to kill rats.

6. Prevent suffocation and disability. The hair pulled by the mother rabbit is easy to suffocate in the neck and crippled in the leg, so the wool used in the nest should be replaced with old cotton, rags and so on.

7. Manual help to open the eyes. For rabbits who are still unable to open their eyes at the age of 15 days, apply 2% boric acid water or eye drops on the eyes, soak them for a while, and gently pull outward on both sides of the eyes with both fingers to make the rabbits open their eyes.

8. Start eating and replenishing food at the right time. Feed young rabbits at the age of 20-21, using tender grass, green vegetable leaves, etc., and add less frequently. After guidance, you can gradually feed some easily digestible feed such as wheat bran. At the age of 28 days, pellet feed can be formally fed.

9. Reasonable weaning. The weaning time should not exceed 42 days at the latest according to the reproductive density. The method of weaning can be one-off weaning or weaning in batches according to the strength of young rabbits.

10. Prevention of diseases. We should do a good job in the management of lactating female rabbits to prevent mastitis so as not to cause xanthuria in young rabbits. Chlorophenyl guanidine and other anti-coccidiosis drugs should be added to the supplementary feed to prevent coccidiosis.
