1. Improper feeding and management.

First, there is excess nutrition, which turns the reserve breeding rabbit into a fat commercial rabbit. It is suggested that farmers should have a scientific feed formula, properly adjust the proportion of concentrate, ensure that crude fiber accounts for about 15% of the diet, and supplement an appropriate amount of hay and vegetables. Second, because of the lack of nutrition, the mother rabbit is too thin. Some female rabbits have a large number of offspring and the lactation period is too long, so that the consumption of maternal nutrition reserve is too large, and it is difficult to recover. Therefore, attention should be paid to "gradually" increasing the amount of feed and the proportion of protein in the diet in the process of lactation. Third, the variety of feed is single, the supply of protein is low, and vitamin E is insufficient. Therefore, attention should be paid to the nutritional balance of feed, and the adjustment and improvement of feed should be made.

two。 Lack of technology and mistakes in operation.

The breeders are not clear and accurate in identifying whether the female rabbit is in estrus, and the infertility is caused by improper mating. When the female rabbit is in estrus, she loses appetite and is restless. She clasps the bottom of the cage with her hind paws and sometimes lifts the hindquarters and tail. If she puts it in the cage of the male rabbit, she likes to approach the male rabbit and is willing to accept mating. We can also judge whether the female rabbit is in estrus by observing its vulva. When the female rabbit is in estrus, the vulva is moist, red and swollen, if pink, it is the early stage of estrus; the bright red is mid-estrus; the purplish red is the most exciting part of estrus, which is the best time for breeding.

3. Inflammation of the reproductive tract leads to infertility.

Sometimes the female rabbit's vulva is red and swollen, inflamed, and even ulcers flow out of mucus, which can easily lead to female rabbit infertility. Wash the affected area with 0.1% potassium permanganate solution and take sulfadiazine orally, feeding 0.1 to 0.2 grams per kilogram of body weight, 2 or 3 times a day. Penicillin can also be injected intramuscularly at 20, 000 to 40, 000 units per kilogram of body weight, 2 or 3 times a day. Cure the inflammation and then breed.

4. Congenital infertility.

This disease mostly occurs in reserve female rabbits, some through intramuscular injection of estrogen diethylstilbestrol and follicle-stimulating hormone can achieve a better reproductive effect, but for long-term non-estrus, treatment ineffective should be eliminated in time.

5. Epidemic infertility.

Brucella, Toxoplasma gondii and spirochetes are also important causes of infertility in female rabbits. These pathogens can spread under natural conditions and can also be infected under natural mating conditions, and the diseased rabbits have obvious clinical symptoms. The principle of prevention and treatment is early detection and early treatment, do a good job of environmental hygiene of rabbit house, do a good job of disinfection, strengthen nutrition, and enhance the disease resistance of the body.
