Storing Chinese cabbage in winter has become a major event for many people in winter, and people store cabbages in different ways, including those wrapped in large quilts and straw curtains. But experienced old people remind you that it is not advisable to wrap cabbage in plastic bags for the winter.

When buying and storing cabbage, we should first retain some of the remaining leaves outside the cabbage. These leaves can be naturally air-dried to form a "protective film" to keep the water inside the cabbage from losing. Store the cabbage in a cool and ventilated place, pour it up and down after a period of time, and let the cabbage "breathe". When the temperature drops, it can be covered with straw mats, gunny bags, etc., but do not use paper, plastic products and other items to wrap cabbage separately. It is not advisable for citizens to wrap every cabbage in plastic bags for the winter. It is easy to accelerate the decay of cabbage.

The storage methods of Chinese cabbage include burial, cellar, etc., and the flat storage methods are as follows:

One is to choose the place. Choose a place that is leeward, dry and well drained, and determine the size of the site according to the amount of Chinese cabbage.

The second is to dry vegetables. The Beginning of Winter chopped vegetables, chopped the roots facing south, put them in place to dry for 3 to 4 days, and flipped them once in the middle.

The third is the yard dish. Put the dried cabbage root down, the yard is close to the solid, and put the bundles of corn stalks flat around.

The fourth is to choose vegetables. Lesser Snow chooses vegetables before and after, removing the yellowing and decaying leaves from the vegetable plant, and then tearing off the leaves of several outer leaves, leaving help to protect the vegetable heart, and covering the selected vegetable leaves on the selected vegetable plant, which can protect against the sun during the day and cold at night.

Fifth, cover vegetables. Before and after the heavy snow, the cabbage should be covered with a layer of plastic film and compacted around to prevent the wind from blowing away.

Sixth, check the temperature. The most suitable storage temperature for Chinese cabbage is 0 degrees Celsius to 2 degrees Celsius, higher than 5 degrees Celsius is easy to fall off, and below minus 5 degrees Celsius is vulnerable to freezing injury. Therefore, the storage process should be checked frequently, when the temperature is too high or too low, remedial measures should be taken in time.
