First, choose the right object. Lean cattle caused by poor feeding and management, poor feed quality or heavy labor can be taken as the first choice. For lean cattle with slight disability, which does not affect the fattening effect or caused by common parasites inside and outside the body, it can also be used as a choice under the premise of lower market price. Once this kind of lean cattle are carefully raised and given adequate high-quality feed, they will often get twice the result with half the effort. Do not buy lean cattle that are physically weak due to diseases such as old age or intractable diarrhea.

Second, build a good enclosure. Create a quiet, comfortable and clean living environment to minimize stress reactions, especially in winter to prevent cold and keep warm, no thieves wind; summer can prevent and cool down, no mosquitoes and flies.

Third, reasonable grouping. Feeding in groups according to age, sex or nutritional status is beneficial to management and timely adjustment of feed formula.

Fourth, rectify the physique. The newly purchased lean cattle should be examined comprehensively and carefully, and the parasites inside and outside the body should be dispelled in time, and a certain amount of appetizers should be used to promote the normal function of its digestive system.

Fifth, prepare the feed. To achieve adequate and comprehensive nutrition, good palatability, easy digestion and absorption. For example, corn, wheat bran, soybeans and other concentrate feed had better be stuffy or scalded, straw feed had better be ammoniated or microsilage treatment, green feed should be fresh and clean, and the length of cut meat should be moderate, especially in winter, appropriate amount of green feed or silage should be supplemented. When replenishing root feed such as sweet potatoes, be sure to wash and chop up.

Provide adequate drinking water. Always ensure that drinking water is clean and adequate, and salt, artificial salt or baking soda can be added to drinking water as appropriate. It is best to drink warm water in winter and spring. Do not drink cold water mixed with sand or ice, and strictly prevent excessive drinking and drinking sewage.

7. Restrict exercise. Fix the cow with a short rope to reduce the amount of exercise and energy consumption. Brush the cow regularly to ensure its hygiene.
