In order to ensure that there are no residues of harmful substances such as chemical fertilizers, pesticides, hormones, antibiotics, veterinary drugs and chemical synthetic substances in beef, beef cattle breeding must be managed and produced in accordance with the relevant requirements of green food production procedures.

? 1. Cattle farm environment

1. The terrain is flat, leeward, sunny and dry, the terrain of the cattle farm should be higher than the highest flood line in local history, and the groundwater level should be below 2 meters.

two。 The water quality must meet the Sanitary Standard for drinking Water and the quantity of water is sufficient. It is best to use deep groundwater.

3. The barn site should be open and tidy, with convenient transportation, and keep a sanitary distance of more than 500 meters from the main highways.

4. The barn should maintain appropriate temperature, humidity, airflow, light and fresh and clean air, and prohibit toxic insecticidal, sterilization and antiseptic drugs.

5. Cattle farm sewage and sewage treatment standards.

2. Breeding and breeding of Beef cattle

At present, most of the beef cattle raised in China are the hybrid offspring of imported breeds such as Simmental, Charolais and domestic yellow cattle. Beef cattle breeds with fast growth rate, strong disease resistance and adapting to local growth conditions should be selected, and the frozen semen of excellent bulls should be introduced in combination with breeding. Beef cattle purchased from off-site must undergo strict quarantine and disinfection.

III. Feed preparation

The green breeding of beef cattle should prepare feed scientifically and reasonably according to the nutritional requirements of different developmental stages. Feed is an indirect food of human beings. toxic and harmful substances in feed will directly endanger human health. More and more studies have found that the common human cancers, malformations, drug resistance and some poisoning phenomena are related to the residues of antibiotics, hormones and other synthetic drugs in meat, eggs and milk. Due to the excessive use of chemical fertilizers and pesticides will lead to high residues of chemical fertilizers and pesticides in forage materials, and then lead to the increase of drug residues in beef, therefore, the feed raw materials for green farming must come from pastures and planting bases in pollution-free areas.

? IV. Additives

Drug additives have brought great benefits to animal husbandry, but with the development of the times, its side effects are becoming more and more obvious. Low-dose antibiotics, as additives, not only eliminate pathogens, but also eliminate microorganisms that are beneficial to the body, resulting in the imbalance of flora in the body; long-term feeding will also produce drug resistance and remain in animal products, which has a negative impact on public health and a direct threat to human health and safety. Therefore, the use of feed additives must comply with the guidelines for the use of feed additives for the production of green food, abuse of antibiotic additives such as excessive addition, failure to comply with the requirements of drug withdrawal period, or illegal use such as hypnotic sedatives, hormones or hormone-like substances will lead to excessive residues of these drugs in beef. Therefore, the production of green beef should try to use new biological agents that can replace antibiotics and growth-promoting hormones, such as probiotics, acidifiers, enzymes, Chinese herbal medicine, oligosaccharides, phospholipids, humic acid and other pure natural substances, or low-toxic and non-residual veterinary drug additives to replace antibiotic additives, even if antibiotics must be used in production, antibiotics should be used reasonably. First of all, it is necessary to choose animal-specific antibiotics with high safety and no drug residues, and avoid drugs that are prone to drug resistance. Secondly, the method of use should be correct and reasonable, must be evenly mixed with feed, and strictly implement the provisions such as adding standard drug withdrawal period, in order to reduce drug residues and drug resistance. It is strictly forbidden to use prohibited drug additives and strictly control the entry of various hormones, antibiotics, chemical growth-promoting factors, chemical preservatives and other harmful substances into milk to ensure the quality of the products.
