Autumn is the best season for pig fattening, but if we do not do a good job in feeding and management, disease prevention and control, not only will not raise pigs fattening out ahead of time, but also an outbreak of epidemic disease, resulting in heavy losses. So how to get pig fattening out of the column ahead of time?

? 1. Whole-group coverage for deworming

In autumn, while doing a good job in cleaning and disinfection inside and outside pig herds and pig houses, the infection status of parasites was monitored by regular fecal examination and autopsy, and effective disinfectants were used to kill coccidia oocysts. At present, avermectin is the main drug to kill parasites, mainly powder, tablet, injection and so on.

Sows were dewormed 14-21 days before parturition. Sows were used once 14 days before mating, and boars were used once in spring and autumn. The most economical way for fattening pigs is to be dewormed once at the age of 35-40 days and once in the next 2 months or so until they are out of the fence. In addition, there are a variety of parasite eggs in green feed, such as Fasciola hepatica, Ascaris lumbricoides and other nematodes, which should be washed before feeding.

? Second, feed matching feeding

Fine material, coarse material and green material should be matched reasonably. Concentrate and roughage should be processed and crushed to facilitate digestion and absorption of pigs. Whether it is wet feeding with raw meal, or mixing the mixture with chopped green fodder and allowing pigs to eat freely, the moisture content of the prepared feed should not be too much. Piglets can provide 0.1% potassium permanganate solution to prevent piglets from white dysentery. Pigs fed with dry feed should provide adequate clean drinking water, which is 4 times that of dry feed in autumn.

Green material must be matched with 40% concentrate, or 10% glutinous rice bran can be added to the feed. In feeding, generally first feed concentrate, and then feed green feed, four times a day, each time to eat within half an hour is better. When many farmers feed their pigs with pellet feed, like powder, they first mix porridge with water, and some even use boiling water or cook it in a pot, which not only can not reflect the superiority of pellet feed, but also destroy the nutrition of pellet feed.

3. Sweet potato with radish

Sweet potato is a kind of high-energy feed. Sweet potato should be scientifically mixed and mixed with corn, wheat bran, rice bran, fish meal, bone meal, additives and other feed with high protein, calcium and phosphorus content in order to ensure the balance of feed nutrition. In addition, the proportion of sweet potatoes in the whole feed should not exceed 50%, let alone feed with sweet potatoes to prevent malnutrition. Do not feed raw, it is best to sweet potatoes and radish that can promote digestion at 2:1 chopped, cooked and stewed, dry until not hot, then mixed with the right amount of dry yeast feeding. Note that cooked sweet potatoes should not be stored in the pot for too long to prevent rancidity. The proportion of sweet potatoes in feed for piglets is generally no more than 30%.

? IV. Timely reserve of feed

Peanut seedlings, bean stalks, potato tubers and legume pods can be dried and crushed to feed pigs. Green grass and green vegetables can be fermented or pickled into sauerkraut. The specific method is: wash the grass, vegetables, melons, leaves and so on, fill the tank, compact layer by layer, when 80% full, cover with grass curtain, press the stone, but do not add water. After the feed sinks in a few days, fill the tank with water.

To isolate the air and ferment for another day, it can be taken out and fed to the pig. If the cylinder mouth is tightly covered with plastic film, it can be tightly tied and sealed around it so that it can not deteriorate for a long time, or it can also be dried or dried. It should be noted that the non-detoxified rapeseed cake should not exceed 10% of the diet; legume feed should be cooked and fed to facilitate the absorption of protein; the amount of feed should be from less to more, so that pigs can gradually adapt.
