Eggplant in greenhouse is a fertilizer-loving crop with long growth period, long fruiting period, high yield and large amount of fertilizer, so it is necessary to apply sufficient base fertilizer before planting.

The amount of fertilizer applied in the old shed should be different from that in the new shed. Because there is more fertilizer left in the soil of the old shed than that of the new shed, the new shed will fertilize more fertilizer than the old one. It was determined that there was excess nitrogen, rich phosphorus fertilizer and insufficient potassium fertilizer in most of the old greenhouse soil. In general, 6000 kg of organic fertilizer per mu is applied in the new shed, while the amount of application can be reduced in the old shed, with the addition of 20-30 kg of potassium sulfate.

Organic manure must be fully mature. Organic fertilizer and potash fertilizer should be spread in an all-round way, and then turned into the soil. Pay attention to the full mixing of manure and soil to prepare for the fixed value.

Fertilization is generally not needed from planting to flowering and fruiting stage, and the cultivation management is mainly temperature management. At flowering and fruiting stage, eggplant seedlings are thicker, shorter internodes, larger leaves, large buds, glossy leaves, and well-developed roots are high-yielding appearance; if eggplant seedlings have thin stems, small leaves, light color and small flowers, it indicates that the seedlings are weak and are often caused by lack of fertilizer. At this point, 0.2% urea or potassium dihydrogen phosphate can be foliar sprayed.

After sitting on the door eggplant, 20 kg of ammonium sulfate is applied per mu, ditch or hole application. After the eggplant is harvested, 15 kg of urea or 1000 kg of dilute dung water can be applied with the water.

The eggplant has entered the harvest period, indicating that it has entered the peak period of fruit. During this period, water should be irrigated every 7-8 days, fertilizer should be applied every other time, organic fertilizer and chemical fertilizer should be used alternately, the application amount is 15-20 kg of ammonium sulfate or 1000 kg of dilute dung, and 10 kg of potassium sulfate should be added to eggplant after harvest to supplement the deficiency of potassium in the soil.
