The high-density cultivation of eggplant is a cultivation method in which the number of eggplant is doubled by changing from single plant to double plant under the condition of conventional planting distance.

First, select improved varieties: according to the local natural environmental conditions, varieties with early maturity, high quality, high yield and disease resistance should be selected.

Second, cultivate strong seedlings: sow at the right time, divide the seedlings 30 days after sowing, leave 2 seedlings in each hole, and plant them at the time of flowering and budding.

Third, timely planting: eggplant likes temperature and can only be planted when the ground temperature reaches more than 13 ℃. The suitable planting density is 3300 mi 3500 holes per mu (6600mu 7000 plants). When planting, apply sufficient base fertilizer to promote early slow seedling.

Fourth, planting management: temperature control should be strengthened after planting to ensure that seedlings are slowed down as soon as possible. Adjust the supply of water and fertilizer and control diseases and insect pests in a timely manner.

Fifth, single plant coring: this is the key to obtain high-density and high-yield cultivation of eggplant. Coring per plant can not only promote early maturity, but also greatly increase the early yield. The specific measures are as follows:

1. There is no side branch under the door eggplant, and the first side branch under the door eggplant should be cut off, leaving one side branch when staring at the eggplant and one branch when the four-sided eggplant stares. If the young fruit of eggplant does not sit still, leave the first side branch under the door eggplant to sit fruit accordingly.

2. Leave 3 eggplants per plant, 6 eggplants per hole, and leave 3 leaves on the fruit when picking the heart.
