On the 29th and 30th, the Taichung municipal government and the Industry Bureau of the Ministry of Economic Affairs jointly held the "Productivity 4.0 Cross-Domain Exchange activity and Productivity 4.0 supply and demand Media activity" to arrange all-round improvement programs such as industrial supply and demand discussion, technology display, experience sharing, media trading, and so on. to help the industry improve production efficiency and move towards intelligent manufacturing. Mayor Lin Jialong said that the city government is committed to promoting intelligent machinery. In addition to promoting the strategic alliance of Industry 4.0, the city government has also adopted the regulations on the Autonomy of Industrial Development in Taichung City, and built the Shuihu Economic and Trade Park to become the operating headquarters of Industry 4.0. Hope to promote R & D and innovation in various industries and drive Taiwan's industries to take off again.

The "Productivity 4.0 Cross-domain Exchange activity and Productivity 4.0 supply and demand Media activity" was held in the city hall and Sichuan Hall. The event was held in a discussion on the productivity improvement needs and applications of the three major industries, such as machine tools, motors, electronics and vehicles, attracting more than 200 representatives from industry, government, university and research circles from all over the country. Mayor Lin Jialong, chairman of Taiwan Association for Intelligent Automation and Robotics, Chuo Yung-Tsai, and Lin Ming-ru, vice chairman of the National Federation of Industries of the Republic of China, were also present to participate in the event.

Four corporate research units and 21 industrial associations also held an alliance ceremony, posting LOGO representing industries on the map of Taiwan, together declaring their determination to help industrial members enhance their productivity and competitiveness and seize the world market territory.

Mayor Lin Jialong said that at present, an industrial 4. 0 strategic alliance has been established and the A-I-M Aerospace Alliance has been formed. in addition, Taichung City has also passed the regulations on Industrial Development Autonomy in Taichung City and set up an industrial development fund, hoping to assist various industries in R & D and innovation.
