The "2016 Bamboo cut Zhongyuan City God Festival" will be held enthusiastically on August 2, inviting people all over the country to get rid of the flail and relieve the disaster.

The Culture Bureau said that this year, the Hsinchu Municipal Government produced a special promotional animated short film to promote the precious intangible cultural asset of Hsinchu City, "the sacrifice of the Yuan City God in the Bamboo cutting" to the whole country, so that the public can have a better understanding of the intangible cultural assets in the territory. I hope to further promote the inheritance and development of traditional culture.

The Culture Bureau said that this year's short film on the Cheng Huang festival is mainly in the style of ink and ink, and the main technique is to render the image on the paper through the dynamic effect of ink halo. The overall film focuses on black and white, showing the characteristic ceremony of the Cheng Huang festival through animation.

Zheng Gengya, director general of the City God Temple in Hsinchu, said that for more than a hundred years, the City God Temple has followed the ancient etiquette and held a meeting to plant blessings, which is one of the highlights of the Hsinchu temple ghost month. Last year, 1500 people signed up to participate. According to the statistics of the City God Temple in Hsinchu, the number of people participating in Hsinchu accounted for 31% of the total, and more than half of the other people from the south invited people from all over the country to participate together to pray for blessings and disaster relief.

Last year, for the first time, the Hsinchu municipal government and the Hsinchu Capital City God Temple jointly held the event to expand publicity and marketing, so that the number of people participating in the tamping flail increased a lot, with the largest number of people aged between 30 and 39 (25%), and the participation rate of young ethnic groups increased significantly. This year's activities call for public participation through animation publicity, inviting you to feel and participate in the charm of folk culture for more than a hundred years.
