? Adjust the diet properly

Increase the energy. The ration ratio should be adjusted properly in spring in order to increase the dietary energy level and reduce the protein level. Among the raw materials, corn and oil bran can be used more, while wheat bran, rice husk and straw can be used less.

Increase palatability. The increase of feed intake can enhance the resistance of pigs to low temperature, and the proper addition of oil to the diet can improve its palatability. As far as piglets are concerned, sweetener has a good food attraction effect.

Ensure vitamin intake. In order to avoid diseases caused by stress in spring, it is very necessary to supplement the vitamin level of the body, that is, to feed a certain amount of green feed. For breeding pigs, a certain amount of multivitamins can be added to the feed; more green feed rich in vitamin An and vitamin E can be fed to reserve sows; iron and selenium supplements should also be done for piglets to prevent anemia from affecting their growth.

Pay attention to the selection of feeding methods

Feeding is scientific and reasonable. According to the nutritional needs of sows in different periods, the feeding of pregnant sows varies from pig to pig. The following three methods are generally used in production: for sows in poor condition, concentrate feed should be added 20 days before and 10 days after mating. After the recovery of body condition, mainly green feed, feeding according to the feeding standard, until 80 days of pregnancy, plus concentrate feed, but the nutrition level in the later stage should be higher than that in the early stage. For the sows in good condition before mating, they can be fed with green roughage in the early stage of pregnancy and concentrate in the later stage of pregnancy. On the other hand, the sows bred during parturition and lactation should mainly use green roughage in the early stage of pregnancy, gradually increase the proportion of concentrate, and increase the protein and minerals in the feed accordingly. However, it should be noted that the diet should be reduced by 10% and 20% in the week before sow birth.

? Provide adequate nutrition for mothers and offspring

Meeting the supply of nutrients is necessary to ensure the normal growth and development of sows and fetuses. Sows get nutrients from the diet, first of all to meet the needs of fetal growth and development, and then supply themselves, and prepare nutrients for lactation. In addition to supplying the energy and protein feed needed in the growth of sows, it should also meet the needs of minerals and vitamins, so as to avoid a single feed and affect the normal growth and development of mother and son.

? Regular, quantitative and rational feeding

Feed rations for pregnant sows should be prepared scientifically and rationally according to their nutritional needs, pay attention to hygiene and ensure quality, and it is strictly forbidden to feed moldy, frozen, poisonous and strongly irritating feed, otherwise it is easy to cause miscarriage; at the same time, be careful not to change feed varieties at will, feed green roughage should be fed frequently and regularly, and ensure that sows can drink clean drinking water at any time.

Earnestly strengthen feeding and management

The focus of the management of pregnant sows is to do a good job of fetal protection. In production, first, sows should eat well, sleep well and exercise less in the first month of pregnancy, and exercise as much as possible after a month, keeping 1-2 hours a day, which is better combined with grazing; second, stop exercise in bad weather to prevent abortion caused by slipping or severe uterine contraction caused by stress; third, flogging, foot waste, crossing the ditch door slowly, to prevent crowding and rapid driving, sharp turns Fourth, the amount of exercise in the middle and later period of pregnancy should be reduced, let the sows move freely, and the activity should be stopped one week before delivery; fifth, the sows must be raised in a single circle in the later stage of pregnancy; sixth, the signs of abortion should be found. measures should be taken for treatment and timely injection of progesterone to protect the fetus.
