Select drought-resistant varieties.

Before planting, select varieties with strong drought resistance. Varieties with strong drought resistance can generally prolong the drought resistance time. Cover the ground.

For summer vegetables without ridge surface covering cultivation, it is necessary to cover the ridge surface with straw in time to store water and conserve moisture, reduce water and nutrient consumption and promote growth. Spraying new lipid film before covering sunshade net in greenhouse to preserve moisture, keep moisture, reduce water evaporation and ensure normal growth of vegetables.

Build irrigation systems.

For plots with irrigation conditions, we should make full use of existing water sources, drought-resistant appliances and facilities, adopt drip irrigation, sprinkler irrigation and other water-saving irrigation technologies to carry out scientific irrigation. For places without irrigation, irrigation systems should be built to ensure that dry areas can be watered to ensure plant growth.
