In order to reduce the feeding cost, goslings generally adopt the way of grazing and feeding, and then carry out appropriate supplementary feeding. General goslings after 10 days of age, suitable conditions can release water and graze, but we should pay attention to grazing time, sites and methods.

? Grazing time

When the weather is clear and the temperature is suitable, the goslings can graze at about 10 days old and from 6 days to 8 days old in summer. The time for the first grazing should be controlled at 1 hour each time, and the weather can be carried out twice a day according to the weather. The interval should be controlled, preferably once in the morning and once in the afternoon, and the grazing time should be gradually extended according to the growth of goslings' age. Grazing can be carried out all day at the age of 24 days.

Grazing ground

Try to choose the site with sufficient forage grass, and the site with good palatability is the best. For goslings, the general forage grass can eat, and the grazing ground should be flat and wide, avoiding more potholes, and grazing areas can be divided if conditions permit, and grazing in different areas should be selected according to the growth of goslings' age. Grazing grounds as far as possible to arrange places with water, you can find ponds and rivers, but also conducive to Gosling drinking water and cleaning.

? Appropriate supplementary feeding

Even if the goslings are grazed all day, they should be properly replenished. Usually the main supplementary feed is bran and blighted grain, which can reduce the feeding cost. The feeding should be carried out after the geese return to grazing in the afternoon, and the feeding should be grasped flexibly with reference to the situation of grazing grass when the geese graze. The supplementary feed should include concentrate and green feed, and the feeding amount should be controlled according to the growth rate of goslings. The concentrate can be fed 90 ~ 140 grams per day according to the age of less than 50 days, 2 ~ 4 times a day, 150 ~ 310 grams per day over 50 days of age, and once or twice a day. The feeding time of concentrate is controlled before grazing and after grazing.
