First, nutrition should be replenished in time.

Increase the animal protein raw materials in the feed, double the addition of multi-vitamins to supplement nutrition. The nutrition level of general autumn duck diet is 18% crude protein, 0.3% methionine, 0.7% lysine, 8% crude fiber, 3% calcium and 0.6% phosphorus.

The second is reasonable feeding.

The amount of concentrate fed to autumn ducks should depend on the laying rate of ducks. If the laying rate of ducks is more than 50%, more concentrate can be added. Otherwise, you can feed some green feed or increase the amount of bran in concentrate and reduce the amount of carbohydrate raw materials at the same time.

The third is to maintain a suitable environment.

The physiology and living habits of egg ducks require that there should be both a pool for playing and a dry place for activities in the environment where they live. The water depth of the pool should be more than 1.5 meters and the water quality should be sanitary, and the activity site should be covered with some fine sand. Egg ducks have a strong metabolism in autumn, so they are very sensitive to the environment, so don't change the feed composition easily. If it is really necessary to change, should be from less to more, gradual transition, must not change the feeding method or change the technical operating procedures. If the temperature is too high, it can prolong the time for ducks to rest under the tree or increase the number of bathing times for ducks.

The fourth is to increase the light.

Lack of light in autumn can easily lead to a decrease in the laying rate of laying ducks, so two sets of lighting equipment can be set up in the house to supplement the light. One set of 15-watt light bulbs is used for resting ducks, and the other 60-watt bulbs are used to feed and stimulate duck activities.

Fifth, forced molting.

The natural moulting time of ducks is about 150 days, and forced molting can be carried out in a planned way to shorten the moratorium period. It should be noted that on the day of forced molting, ducks should not be allowed to take a bath to avoid infection.
