After a growing season, pear trees have gradually weakened after fruit picking and entered an important period of nutrition accumulation. In order to ensure that the pear tree is not weak and prevent pear trees from falling leaves early and blooming and fruiting twice due to diseases and insect pests, fertilizer and water management should keep up with it after fruit picking, so as to ensure the normal flowering and fruiting of pear trees in the coming year.

Pears consume a lot of nutrients in the fruiting period, and there is an urgent need to replenish nutrition and restore tree potential after fruit harvest. At the same time, the pear root system entered the second growth peak from August to November, when the base fertilizer should be applied early, which is not only conducive to the rapid decomposition of fertilizer, but also conducive to the absorption and storage of nutrients by new roots. Base fertilizer should be based on organic fertilizer, adding appropriate amount of nitrogen, phosphorus and potassium quick-acting fertilizer, combined with tree potential and fruit amount to determine the amount of fertilizer application, this time the amount of base fertilizer should account for 40% of the amount of fertilizer applied in the whole year. Generally, 15003000kg of ring fertilizer, human feces and urine, leftovers of livestock or mature wheat bran, wheat straw, weeds and other organic fertilizers are applied per mu, while 40kg of nitrogen, phosphorus and potassium compound fertilizer is mixed.

Methods: when the trench was dug about 1 meter from the trunk, the tree could be closer; the fertilization ditch was about 40 cm deep and 30 cm wide, shallow inside and deep outside. Mix well with backfill soil after fertilization to avoid burning roots due to fertilizer accumulation. At the same time, extra-root topdressing can be carried out. For an extra-root topdressing of pear orchards from September to October, 0.1%-0.3% urea and 0.3%-0.5% potassium dihydrogen phosphate mixture can be sprayed, and foliar is sprayed after the dew dries in the morning and evening. Do not spray high humidity at noon to avoid harm. Lai Guiqing
