The use of antibiotics in aquaculture is very common, but the problem can not be ignored. The use of antibiotics in many places has gone far beyond the scope of antimicrobials. there is not only excessive use of antibiotics, but also excessive use of antibiotics with high residues and toxic side effects, resulting in drug resistance of bacteria, which brings new difficulties to the prevention and control of livestock and poultry diseases. Li Cuiying, a senior animal pastor of the Agricultural Bureau of Yuanjiang City, Hunan Province, reminded the broad masses of farmers not to abuse antibiotics.

The drug resistance caused by antibiotics is a global problem. The long-term use of certain antibiotics in livestock and poultry feed can not only increase the number of drug-resistant strains of pathogenic bacteria, but also make normal strains resistant to the antibiotics. affect the therapeutic effect of drugs. It has been found that drug resistance can even be transferred to the human body, affecting the control of human diseases.

Long-term use of antibiotics by animals can directly produce toxic and side effects on the animal body, resulting in a decline or gradual weakening of immune function, making it more likely to be infected with diseases, and some diseases that can form lifelong immunity in the past also recur frequently. Long-term addition of antibiotics in feed will also lead to the reduction of antigen quality, directly affect the immune function, and have a negative effect on immune vaccination.

Antibiotics in the treatment of animal diseases at the same time, there must be certain toxic side effects, long-term use will produce a large number of drug-resistant bacteria in animals. When humans eat these animal meat, not only the residual antibiotics in the body will be transferred to the human body, the drug-resistant strains produced in the animal will also be transmitted to humans, which is almost impossible for humans to prevent. It has been proved that the antibiotics added in the feed, which are not fully absorbed in the intestines, are excreted from the feces of livestock and poultry, polluting the atmosphere, water sources, soil and so on, and adversely affecting the living environment of human beings.

While antibiotics kill and inhibit pathogenic microorganisms in animals, it will inevitably affect the growth of beneficial bacteria in the body. If it is widely used for a long time, it will cause the imbalance of flora in the body and destroy the microecological balance. As far as individuals are concerned, antibiotics destroy the membrane flora of the digestive tract, and exogenous pathogenic bacteria take the opportunity to enter, leading to double infection.

When adding antibiotics to feed, the amount of antibiotics should be strictly controlled. In order to ensure the curative effect, some farmers increase the addition at will, which not only increases the production cost, improves the drug resistance of pathogens, but also brings environmental pollution.

Strictly control the time of medication. After using an antibiotic for a period of time, some of the surviving pathogens become resistant to the antibiotic. Controlling the medication time can effectively limit the drug residues in livestock and poultry products and improve the safety of meat food.
