Introduction of varieties of winter wheat in 2016 by supporting technical projects for water saving and stable yield in our province

According to the arrangement of "notice on issuing and issuing the implementation Plan of planting structure Adjustment and Agronomic Water Saving related projects for the pilot Project of Comprehensive treatment of groundwater overexploitation in Hebei Province in 2016", by the Hebei Provincial Department of Agriculture (Rural work Office of Hebei Provincial Party Committee and Provincial Government), experts inside and outside the province in wheat breeding, cultivation and popularization were invited to form an expert committee to fully demonstrate the water-saving wheat varieties initially recommended by the project city. 49 varieties suitable for planting in the project area were selected.

There are 24 varieties suitable for planting in the central and southern part of Hebei Province, including Zhongmai 155,700, Xingmai 4, Xingmai 6, Xingmai 7, Shinong 086, Shimai 22, Shimai 18, Nongda 399, Ke Nong 199, Jimai 585, Guan 35, Heng 4444, Heng 4399, Henong 5290, Han 6172, Hanmai 13, Gaoyou 2018, Gaoyou 5218, Heng S29, Lunxuan 7369, Henong 9206, Jimai 518.

There are 9 varieties suitable for planting in Heilonggang basin, including Shimai 21, Heng 0816, Heng 0628, Hanmai 12, Henong 7106, Cangmai 028, Henong 826 and Jimai 19 (dry and thin land).

There are 11 varieties suitable for planting in the central and northern part of Hebei Province, including Henong 6425, Zhongmai 175, Cangmai 119, Tangmai 8, Jingdong 18, Lunxuan 169,Jingdong 22, Baomai 10, Henong 825, Zhongmai 816, Nongda 212.

There are two varieties suitable for planting in the south-central and north-central regions of Hebei Province, including Shiyou 20 and Henong 6049.

Suitable for south-central Hebei Province, Baoding (except Laiyuan, Fuping, Yixian mountain area) to grow a total of 1 variety: Shixin 828.

There is one variety suitable for planting in the south-central part of Hebei Province and Heilonggang Basin: Shimai 15.

There is one variety suitable for planting in the dry and fertile land and Heilonggang basin in the middle and south of Hebei Province: Heng 6632.
