First, after leaving the mother, the lamb is basically breast milk, so the nutrition of the ewe should be strengthened. after birth, the lamb must eat the endocrine colostrum of the ewe for 1-3 days. The nutritional value of "colostrum" is high, the protein is 4-5 times that of normal milk, the variety of vitamins is complete, and it contains vitamins that lambs can not synthesize, and trace elements are also very rich. Magnesium salt in "colostrum" has the effect of light diarrhea and promotes meconium excretion. At the same time, "colostrum" contains immunoglobulin that normal milk does not have, which can increase the immunity and resistance of lambs and increase the physique of lambs.

Second, if the lack of milk lambs can not find a "babysitter" sheep, people should feed them, and artificial feeding should use more goat milk, milk and milk powder, and so on. Improper feeding of milk powder should lead to indigestion and death of lamb dysentery, so we should pay attention to the changes of lamb feces at any time and prevent and cure them as soon as possible. If artificial feeding is to be successful, it must be done regularly and quantitatively, and a special person must be responsible for it.

(1) the lambs at the age of 1 month were fed once every 3 hours, 4 times a day at the age of 1 ~ 2 months, 3 times a day at the age of 2 ~ 3 months, and twice a day after the age of 3 months. With the increase of age, gradually reduce the number of breast-feeding, appropriately increase the amount of each feeding.

(2) the milk temperature of artificial lactation at constant temperature should be close to or slightly higher than the body temperature of ewes, that is, 38 ℃ ~ 42 ℃ is better.

(3) subcutaneous injection of 0.5ml Escherichia coli vaccine into newborn lambs can prevent dysentery of lambs. Lambs with weak physique can be injected slowly with glucose calcium chloride 10ml and 25% glucose 10ml while bathing in warm water. Generally, 5-7 days after birth, lambs choose windless and warm sunny days to drive them to outdoor sports to strengthen their physique, increase appetite, promote growth, and reduce disease newborn lambs, especially those born to thin ewes with weak physique and poor vitality. the ability to regulate body temperature is still low, the resistance to disease is weak, and maintaining a good sanitary environment is conducive to the growth and development of lambs.

(4) it is better to put some clean mat grass in the sheep house and keep the room temperature between 5 and 10 ℃ without great change. If the newborn lamb is physically weak, it should be arranged on a warmer sheep shed or hot Kang, the temperature should not exceed the body temperature, and then gradually lower the room temperature until the normal temperature of the sheep barn.

(5) the person who feeds the lamb should wash his hands before feeding. Usually do not come into contact with sick sheep, try to reduce or avoid pathogenic factors, "quantitative" refers to each feeding amount, controlled in the "70% full" degree, do not feed too much. The specific amount is determined according to the body weight or physical size of the lamb. generally, the amount of milk given throughout the day is equivalent to 1 big 5 of the birth weight. When feeding porridge or soup, it should be quantified according to the consistency, and the whole-day feeding amount should be slightly lower than the feeding standard, especially for the first 2-3 days of porridge feeding, give less at first, and then increase the amount after slowly adapting. When the lamb is healthy and has a good appetite, the feeding amount of the lamb is increased by 4 times and 1 pound every 7 to 8 days, and if there is indigestion, the amount of feeding should be reduced, the amount of drinking water should be increased, and some therapeutic measures should be taken. Newborn lambs should be fed 6 times a day, once every 3-5 hours, and sleep at night can be prolonged or reduced. After 10 days, the lambs were fed 4 times 5 times a day, and when the lambs were fed grass or food, it could be reduced to 3 times 4 times. Han Jinhu
