Bacterial heart rot of corn is a new disease commonly occurred in corn areas in recent years, which is mainly characterized by water immersion and peculiar smell at the edge of the heart leaf at the initial stage, and distorted when the heart leaf is serious. The reason is that the wounds caused by two kinds of small corn pests-Swedish fly and thistle suck (or file) corn heart leaves in the later stage of high humidity induce bacterial infection, resulting in corn heart rot.

Prevention and control methods:

(1) attention should be paid to the control of two kinds of small pests at seedling stage, and 1500 times of imidacloprid was used.

(2) at the beginning of the disease, using the following large prescription to choose a sprinkler irrigation heart leaf for prevention and treatment can play a very obvious effect. 20% Longke 500 times + 10% imidacloprid 1500 times + Aiduo 4000 times or 1% Shenzimycin 1500 times + 15% acetamiprid 3000 times + Aiduo 4000 times.
