Coriander likes cold climate, cold but not heat, high temperature in summer and autumn, more Rain Water, difficult cultivation, and low yield. in recent years, with the adjustment of planting structure, coriander is cultivated as an off-season in summer and autumn due to high market price. the planting benefit is good, and the planting area is expanded year by year. The cultivation techniques of coriander in summer and autumn are summarized as follows:

1. Variety selection

When coriander is cultivated in summer and autumn, high yield varieties such as Thai four seasons coriander and concubine with good heat tolerance, disease tolerance and strong stress resistance should be selected.

2. Seed treatment

It is difficult for coriander seeds to germinate under high temperature, so the fruit must be rubbed open before sowing to facilitate uniform seedling emergence. Soak the seeds in 1% potassium permanganate solution for half an hour, remove and wash them, soak them in clean cold water for about 20 hours, and then germinate under the condition of 20 ℃ and 25 min before sowing.

3. Soil preparation and fertilization

Select the land with convenient drainage and irrigation, loose and fertile soil, turn 20-25cm in time after the previous crop harvest, and dry the soil for 15 days. In order to facilitate the use of sunshade net, a deep trench and high border was made of border height 20cm, border width 120cm and ditch width 30cm. Coriander growth period is short, combined with soil preparation, per mu of rotten manure 3500kg, calcium magnesium phosphate fertilizer 40kg. The surface soil of the border is fine and flat to promote the emergence of seedlings after sowing.

4. Sowing seeds at the right time

When coriander is cultivated in summer and autumn, it is generally appropriate to sow in early July. It can not only harvest high output, but also obtain higher market price. It is generally better to use sowing. The sowing rate per mu is 6-7kg. After sowing, water was thoroughly watered and covered with 1-2cm thick rice straw to preserve moisture and promote seedlings.

5. Field management

Keep the soil moist before emergence. When 80% coriander emerges, remove the straw. The high temperature in summer and autumn will affect the growth of coriander, so it is necessary to set up a frame in time and cover the sunshade net after removing straw. The sunshade net should be covered during the day and exposed at night to strengthen ventilation to prevent seedlings from growing thin and causing diseases. Because of the short growing period, coriander is suitable for early weeding, early seedling and early topdressing of available nitrogen fertilizer. Generally speaking, the interseedling should be carried out about 7 days after the full seedling, the seedling should be fixed when 2 true leaves, and the seedling distance should be 3-4cm. Generally, water was irrigated once every 8 days, and the first fertilizer was applied at 3cm of seedling height, and urea was applied 8-10kg per mu.

6. Timely harvest

30-40 days after emergence, when the height of the plant is 15-20 cm, it can be harvested and listed on the market. Cai Shuangwen
