Germination:

Germination begins 7 days before sowing. 0.25~ 0.3kg celery seed per mu in greenhouse. 10% salt water is used for seed selection during germination, and sclerotinia is removed and washed with clean water. Soak seeds in 48 ° C hot water for 30 minutes, keeping the water temperature and stirring constantly. Then put it into cold water to cool for 5~10 minutes, and then soak it in water at room temperature for 24 hours. After the water is out, wash it several times, gently rub it with your hands while washing, rub the epidermis until the seeds are scattered, spread out and dry the seeds. When the seed surface is half dry, mix with 5 times the seed volume of fine moist sand, mix into a clean pot, cover with plastic film. Keep it in a cool place, 40 cm above the water. That is to say, germination is fastest and germination rate is highest under the condition of 18~20 ℃. Germination was delayed below 15 ℃, and almost did not germinate above 30 ℃. Turn the seeds 2 to 3 times a day and rub them with your hands to allow them to see light and breathe. Dry seeds should be replenished. It takes 7 - 8 days to sprout.

Preparation of seedbed soil:

The seedbed is selected on a plot with high terrain and easy drainage. The preparation method of the seedbed soil is that 60% of fertile garden soil, 30% of horse manure, 10% of chicken manure or dried manure, 500g urea is added to each square meter of seedbed, stirred and sieved, and spread on the seedbed with a thickness of about 10cm, and the seedbed is leveled for sowing.

Standard for strong seedlings of celery seedlings:

The seedling age is generally 45~70 days, the plant height is 7~10 cm, there are 3~5 true leaves, the leaf color is dark green, the root system is more, and there are no diseases and insect pests.
