With suitable temperature and sufficient feed in autumn, it is an ideal season for raising broilers, and the feeding cycle of broilers is short (56 days). Farmers and herdsmen can seize the opportunity to raise several batches of broilers to increase their income. The feeding and management techniques are as follows:

1. Preparation of the building

1. Volume: 11 adult chickens per square meter and 25 chickens per square meter.

two。 Disinfection: to go through four processes: ① thorough cleaning. ② is washed with clean water without leaving any dirt. After washing and drying with ③ water, thoroughly disinfect the roof, inner wall and floor with 2% caustic soda or 0.15% bromogeramine. ④ fumigation: beverage utensils and tableware should be prepared for disinfection before fumigation, spread with cushions (5 cm thick), and then seal the doors and windows. 30ml formalin per cubic meter space with 15g potassium permanganate fumigation for 24 hours, open doors and windows for 48 hours to enter the chicken seedlings.

II. Feed formula

1.1-4-week-old: corn 61%, wheat bran 3%, leaf powder 2%, cottonseed cake 3%, bean cake 16%, meat and bone meal 4%, blood powder 7%, bone meal 1%, shell powder 1.2%, salt 0.3%, appropriate amount of additives.

Over 2.5 weeks old: corn 67%, bean cake 18%, fish meal 8%, grass meal 1%, animal oil 4%, bone meal 1%, stone meal 0.7%, salt 0.3%, appropriate amount of additive.

III. Feeding and management

1. Drinking water: after the chick enters the house, let the chicken drink water first, wait for drinking water for 2 to 3 hours before feeding. In order to make each chicken drink water, it is best to pick up the chicken one by one, soak the beak into the water plate, and let them drink once or twice. And appropriate addition of potassium permanganate and other disinfectants in the water.

two。 Feed: according to the situation of broilers, feed to full-price formula feed or self-made feed. At the age of 1-15 days, they were fed 8 times a day. At the age of 15-56 days, they were fed 3-4 times a day, based on the principle of less frequent feeding, adequate food and full food.

3. Temperature: after coming out of the shell, the chick has a low body temperature and few fluff, so it is necessary to provide a suitable temperature. Week 1: 31: 32 ℃; week 2: 29: 30 ℃; week 3: 28 ℃; week 4: 26 ℃; week 5: 24 ℃; week 6: 21 ℃; week 7: 20 ℃; week 8: 19 ℃. In addition, appropriate density and humidity should be maintained.

4. Bedding: broilers do not go to the shelf all their lives and like to lie down after feeding. When lying down, 70% of their weight is supported by their breasts. In order to prevent the occurrence of cysts in contact between the chest and the hard ground, cushions must be laid when the ground is scattered, which are commonly used: sawdust, shavings, rice husks and so on.
