Recently, there are more rainstorms, thundershowers and continuous rainy weather, which are easy to have a great impact on fish culture in ponds. In order to ensure the stable and high yield of pond fish culture, the following points should be paid attention to in pond fish management in rainy season:

I. Prevention and control of fish diseases

Regular use of quicklime, chlorine dioxide and dibromohydantoin for disinfection, or the use of microecological agents to improve water quality and regulate water quality can prevent bacterial fish disease and improve fish intake and immune function. VC, immune enhancer and microecological preparation can be added to the feed to enhance the physique of fish. Moldy and spoiled feed and toxic substances are strictly prohibited from entering the pond. When applying pesticide, it should be noted that the average water depth of the fish pond is less than 80 cm, and when the water temperature is more than 30 ℃, the medicine should not be sprinkled in the whole pond; when the water quality is fatter and the temperature is lower, the dosage should be increased, and vice versa; the spraying time should generally be in the afternoon or evening, and the pesticide should not be applied at noon, in addition, the fish should not be sprinkled in the whole pond when the floating head or floating head is just over; in case of wind, the pesticide should be thrown from the upwind to the downwind. Do not throw medicine at the same time, usually after feeding, but you should stop eating for 1-2 days before taking the medicine. Do not pull the net within 1 or 2 days after the drug is thrown.

II. Water quality regulation

Fish are more prone to lack of oxygen in the rainy season, so the regulation of water quality is particularly important. It requires sufficient water, clean, free of pathogens and no man-made pollution, which is suitable for the production of farmed fish. According to the water quality, the old water is discharged in time, the new water is replenished, the dissolved oxygen is increased, and the water quality is effectively improved. If possible, water can be added 4 times a month to increase the activity space of fish, improve water quality and promote the growth of fish. Turn on the aerator at the right time, and the start-up time can be extended appropriately. Injection of new water can increase dissolved oxygen and nutrients and dilute the organic matter and toxic substances in the pool water. Generally, water is added every 7 to 10 days, with 15 centimeters of new water added each time. Sprinkle quicklime water regularly, usually every half a month or so, with a water depth of 20,30kg per mu.

3. Bait

The feed fed must have good physical properties, including fresh and palatable, comprehensive nutrition and good stability in water; the feed should be stored in a cool, dry and shady place, and the feed produced should be used up within 30 to 60 days; feed that has been stored for too long, damp, heated, moldy, deteriorated or degraded due to other factors can no longer be fed. Feed feeding should not only adhere to the principles of timing, positioning, quality and quantity, but also flexibly grasp the amount of feed according to the actual situation.

In addition, in rainy or rainy weather, the phenomenon of anoxia and floating head in fish ponds increases, so it is necessary to strengthen pond inspection every day. Especially in thunderstorm or muggy weather, appropriately reduce the amount of bait on that day, and find that the fish floating head stops feeding and fertilizing, injects new water and turns on the aerator in time, increases the oxygen content in the water, adjusts the water quality, and avoids the occurrence of dead fish in floodpond.
