In the off-season cultivation of Lentinus edodes, deformed mushrooms are often produced because the production conditions are not in place, which affects the commercial quality of Lentinus edodes and reduces the production efficiency. The main manifestations and control measures of deformed mushrooms are as follows:

1. The cap is small and thin: the cap is thin and small, it can not grow even if the mushroom age is long, and there is no special flavor of Lentinus edodes when eating fresh; the first reason is that the color change is not completed, and the mushroom is produced when the flower fungus bag or white fungus bag is used; second, the nutrition of the base material is obviously insufficient; third, the temperature of growth is on the high side.

Prevention and control measures: if there is no color-changing bacterial bag, we must regulate and control the conditions to change color; if the base material is not nutritious enough, it can be properly supplemented when soaking the mushroom bag, and the method of "mushroom noodle fertilization" can also be adopted. for example, spraying three-dimensional nutrients of edible fungi can effectively thicken the cover thickness; the temperature is high in summer, and effective cooling measures should be taken, such as spraying water to the walls of the mushroom shed.

2. The shape of the lamp cover: the cover is in the shape of a pointed lampshade and becomes thinner obviously, resulting in a serious decline in the quality of the goods.

The main reason is the same as the above, we can refer to the above methods for prevention and treatment.

3. The cap is wavy: the edge of the cap shows a regular wave shape, and it is obviously thin and brittle. The wavy shape is mainly due to the large temperature difference in the development stage of young mushrooms, and the humidity of the environment also changes greatly, especially when the heavy water is sprayed directly on the cap, which makes the cap tissue develop abnormally.

The control method is to maintain a relatively stable temperature and humidity after the occurrence of mushroom buds, especially in out-of-season cultivation in summer, the temperature of the mushroom shed is often the basic condition for the normal development of fruiting bodies.

4. The cap is not round and positive, which is characterized by narrow, long or triangular cap, which is not round. The main reason is that the plastic film was not cut in time at the young bud stage, so that the bacterial cap was directly placed on the plastic film to accept certain friction, or the mushroom buds occurred more often, and the buds were not treated in time, and the bacterial caps were squeezed together after growing to the young bud stage. as long as the bacterial cap is squeezed when young, it will never grow round again.

Prevention and treatment: cut the film in time, and carry out bud thinning treatment, generally choose only 1 or 2 young buds, do not make too many.

5. The stalk is hollow: the stalk is slender and hollow, which leads to the small cap, mainly due to the low moisture content of the base material and the low humidity in the space.

Prevention and control measures: after each harvest, the bubble bag treatment should be carried out, which can be soaked for 24 hours to restore the original weight; keep the air humidity in the mushroom shed above 85%.

6. The stalk grows from the crack: when the moisture content of the bag is too low, the base material cracks, and after forming a long and narrow crack, the fruiting body can grow out of the crack, and some of them are not even drilled completely, and the cap grows in the crack. Finally, it can not realize its commercial value.

The prevention and control method is to adhere to the bacterial bag soaking treatment, so as not to make it form cracks.

7. Twisted stalk: this phenomenon is easy to occur when the air humidity in the mushroom shed is low, the light is strong or the light angle is changed too frequently.

The prevention and control method is to maintain a relatively stable air humidity and relatively stable light, which generally requires a scattered light of 1000 lux.

8, candle mushroom: candle mushroom is characterized by the bare stalk, there is no normal cap tissue, shaped like a candle. The causes are as follows: one is that the cap tissue is damaged in the mushroom bud stage, and the other is the high concentration of carbon dioxide in the greenhouse.

Prevention and control measures: cut the film in time; be careful not to hurt the buds when thinning buds; adhere to better ventilation to maintain fresh air conditions in the shed.
