When cucumber is cultivated in greenhouse or greenhouse in summer, with the increase of air temperature, if the ventilation is not in time or the ventilation is not smooth, the temperature in the greenhouse can reach 40 ℃ 50 ℃, and sometimes it can be as high as 50 ℃ in the afternoon, which causes serious harm to the growth and development of cucumber and greatly affects the yield and quality of cucumber. Recently, with the arrival of summer, the temperature continues to rise, especially the nine-overcast sunny weather, cucumber production around the "leading" wilting in varying degrees, affecting the growth of plants.

Symptoms of the disease

??? Cucumber plant bibcock showed thin stem, short internodes, thin leaves, soft and thin leaves, wrinkled faucet and thin flowers.

Second, the cause of the disease

??? In summer, under the condition of poor ventilation or improper cooling measures for a long time, especially from noon to three o'clock in the afternoon on a sunny day, the temperature in the greenhouse is very easy to exceed 40 ℃ and cause high temperature resistance, such as enhanced respiration, material consumption and heavy rain accumulation, decrease of plant enzyme activity, plant physiological imbalance, growth stagnation and so on. When the indoor temperature reaches 48 ℃, it will cause leaflet wilting and leaf edge blackening near cucumber growing point in a short time, which is what we call "faucet" wilting. If the high temperature is long, the leaves of the whole plant will wilt like hot water.

III. Prevention and control methods

1. Ventilation and cooling

??? In order to prevent the high temperature resistance of vegetables in summer, the key is to do a good job in the ventilation management of the greenhouse, and pay attention to opening all the upper and lower air vents of the greenhouse or greenhouse, so as to let the cold air outside the greenhouse enter the greenhouse and form convection with the hot air in the shed. to accelerate the outflow of hot air. It should be noted that a wind shield can be set at the bottom of the vent to prevent cold air from blowing directly to the fruit surface of vegetables, resulting in textured skin, cracks and so on.

2. Improve the tolerance of vegetables in the greenhouse to high temperature and strong light.

By spraying foliar fertilizer such as chitin, amino acid and alginic acid, the robust growth of the plant was promoted and its resistance to high temperature was improved.

3. Use sunshade net or spray cooling agent to reduce temperature.

??? When the temperature is high in summer, setting up the sunshade net in time to reduce the light transmittance of the greenhouse film, weaken the light in the greenhouse, and spray the cooling agent on the greenhouse film, so as to play a cooling role.

Watering to cool down

Watering is the most effective way to cool down. Watering should be carried out in the evening or early morning, it is forbidden to water at high temperature at noon, because high temperature watering at noon not only can not get the cooling effect, but also has the effect of promoting damage. Drip irrigation or immersion irrigation is the best method under certain conditions.
