The fumigation and disinfection method of chicken house is to use formalin to react with potassium permanganate to quickly release formaldehyde gas to kill pathogenic microorganisms. This is a common method of disinfection in chicken sheds. Close the doors and windows of the chicken house before disinfection, close all the cracks, and then calculate the total dosage of medicine according to the volume of the chicken house, which is calculated according to the use of formalin 28 ml, potassium permanganate 14 g and water 4-5 ml per cubic meter of chicken house. When operating, first pour water into corrosion-resistant pottery or enamel containers, then add potassium permanganate and stir evenly, then add formalin, people immediately leave, and immediately close the doors and windows of the chicken house. The fumigation and disinfection of chicken sheds should pay attention to the following problems:

1. Clean the henhouse thoroughly before fumigation, spray the facility and floor with quicklime emulsion, and then dry it.

2. Do not add potassium permanganate to formalin during operation, so as not to be hurt by the spilled formalin.

3. The container containing medicine should be as large as possible so as not to overflow the container when boiling.

4. Containers are required to be resistant to high temperature and corrosion, and flammable plastic containers are strictly prohibited to avoid fire.

5. After fumigation and disinfection, the henhouse should be sealed for more than 24 hours to ensure the disinfection effect.

6. After disinfection, the doors and windows of the chicken house should be opened and ventilated for more than 2 days to make the formaldehyde gas volatilize clean.
