1. Empty column

When a batch of pigs come out of the pen, they should implement the "eight-step disinfection method", that is, "cleaning bubble to remove residue, fog white fumigation ring". Cleaning refers to cleaning or cleaning all kinds of organic pollutants in the nooks and crannies of the enclosure, washing refers to washing and brushing, soaking refers to the facilities in the enclosure soaked in disinfectant for 24 hours, removal of residues refers to the removal of organic pollutants, fog refers to spray disinfection, white refers to whitening with lime milk, fumigation refers to closing doors and windows for formaldehyde fumigation, empty pen refers to pigsty empty pen for more than a week before entering the pig.

Second, temperature

The germicidal efficacy of disinfectants is proportional to temperature, and when the temperature increases, the germicidal efficacy increases. In general, the bactericidal power can be doubled when the temperature of the solution is increased by 10 ℃. However, the temperature of the solution can not exceed the temperature that the pig body can bear, and it will lose its effect at 0 ℃. In the actual production, the temperature of the solution should be above 30 ℃ in winter and 20 ℃ ~ 30 ℃ in summer. In addition, during fumigation and disinfection, it is necessary to raise the temperature above 20 ℃ in order to have a better effect.

Third, humidity

It is also important to control the humidity during disinfection. Formaldehyde disinfection, the humidity should be more than 60%, peracetic acid gas disinfection, the humidity of 60% to 80% is the best, quicklime alone for disinfection is ineffective, must be sprinkled with water or made into lime milk to play the role of disinfection.

IV. Concentration

Generally speaking, the higher the concentration of disinfectant, the stronger the germicidal power; the lower the concentration, the weaker the germicidal power. However, if the concentration of disinfectant is too high, it will not only cause waste, but also corrode equipment and bring irritation to human beings and animals. On the other hand, when some disinfectants exceed a certain concentration, the disinfection effect will be weakened. For example, the germicidal effect of alcohol with a concentration of 70% to 75% is better than 95% alcohol. Some high-content chlorine preparations, when the concentration is high, because the volatilization of chlorine has a strong stimulating effect on livestock and poultry, leading to respiratory diseases.

V. rotation

Different pathogenic microorganisms have different sensitivities to disinfectants. For example, some viruses (circovirus) are not sensitive to ordinary disinfectants, so they should choose high-efficiency disinfectants, such as compound aldehydes, active chlorine, etc.; when disinfecting pigs, some disinfectants that stimulate and corrode animals cannot be used, such as sodium hydroxide, so as not to cause skin damage to humans and animals; medium-effect disinfectants can be selected for disinfection of injection sites. At the same time, a disinfectant is often used, which will cause drug resistance of pathogenic microorganisms, so in disinfection, two or more disinfectants should be used alternately.
