Turmeric is the root of turmeric, turmeric or zedoary, which is a dicotyledonous plant. It has the effect of removing blood stasis, clearing heart and relieving depression, promoting gallbladder and retreating jaundice. Distributed in Jiangsu, Zhejiang, Fujian, Guangdong, Guangxi, Jiangxi, Sichuan, Yunnan and other places. In the past two years, the market prospect is extremely good, and the planting technology is not complicated. as long as strict technical management, one mu of turmeric can at least achieve rich income. So, how is Yujin planted?

I. selection of land and land preparation

Yujin likes a sunny, moist and warm environment. Therefore, we should choose the sandy soil with sufficient light, abundant rainfall, deep and fertile neutral or slightly acidic soil, the upper layer is loose, the lower layer is tight, easy to conserve water and fertilizer. Before planting, turn the soil 30 centimeters deep and rake it flat. Because Yujin planted in front of the Summer Solstice and intercropped with corn, each planting year, that is, one rotation, can not be continuous cropping.

II. Methods of reproduction

Yujin can be propagated in both asexual and sexual ways, and asexual reproduction is usually used in production in order to save production time.

The method of asexual reproduction of Yujin is as follows: when the turmeric is harvested in winter, the disease-free and fat rhizomes are selected as seeds and stored in indoor ventilated and dry places. The rhizome was taken out in February and March in spring, the fibrous root was removed, the soil was shaken, and it was cut into 4 pieces longitudinally, each with 1 Mel and 2 strong buds. Plant according to the row spacing of 30cm, plant spacing of 30cm, plant ginger 1 piece per hole, 125ml 150kg of ginger per mu.

III. Key points of planting

When planting, separate the mother seed (the larger tuber in the middle) from the son, and the seed should be planted earlier than the mother. When planting, cut the large tulip seed into several small pieces, each with 2 buds, ready to be planted. As the tulip root scattered in the soil is very wide, so the plant-row spacing should be wide, generally 34m 40 cm is more appropriate. Such as the intercropping of Yujin and corn, within 7 days before and after the Summer Solstice, when the corn is just blooming, it can dig a nest between the rows, with a depth of about 3 cm, and a flat bottom. The tulip species that have been cut into small pieces will be put in each nest, 1 in the middle, 1 in the middle, 1 in each corner, and the buds will be upward and covered with soil 1.5cm thick after planting. You can use withered vegetables as base fertilizer. Generally in 20 days after the emergence of seedlings, per mu need tulip seed 125 MUE 200 kg.

IV. Disease and pest control

The disease has black spot, which is harmful to the leaves. The diseased leaves are removed in time at the initial stage of the disease, and sprayed with 50% topiramate 500 times or 65% Dysen zinc wettable powder 400-800 times. Pests are ground tigers and grubs, which bite the whisker root in the seedling stage, so that the root tuber can not be formed, which can be caught manually or killed by poison bait. There are also harm caused by ginger butterflies and corn borer.
