In recent years, with the popularization of knowledge about the efficacy and function of Dendrobium candidum, everyone is aware of the rarity of Dendrobium candidum, which also caused a storm of planting Dendrobium candidum. We all know that Dendrobium candidum needs to be parasitic on rotten wood, and most of the time, Dendrobium candidum is indeed hung on the tree, so what is the planting method of Dendrobium candidum? You can make money as long as you hang it on a tree?

Planting method of Dendrobium candidum:

1. Production of tissue culture seedlings

The main results are as follows: (1) Dendrobium candidum with healthy leaves and good growth characters were collected in the field as provenance and carefully maintained.

(2) during the flowering season, the authentic pods of Dendrobium candidum were obtained by artificial pollination.

(3) after the seeds matured, the mother bottle of Dendrobium candidum was formed by sowing. After transfer-strong seedling-rooting, the healthy and authentic mother bottle of Dendrobium candidum was obtained.

two。 Domesticated seedling tube culture of Dendrobium candidum

Dendrobium candidum planting enterprises (farmers) are generally encouraged to plant domesticated seedlings of Dendrobium candidum, but not to plant bottle seedlings directly. Because the bottle seedlings of Dendrobium candidum are very delicate, just like the babies in the incubator, their transplanting needs rich experience and good greenhouse facilities to ensure the survival rate, so generally we can not buy bottle seedlings to plant directly to save money, especially at the beginning of planting Dendrobium. The domesticated seedlings of Dendrobium candidum refer to the seedlings which have adapted to the greenhouse environment and cultivation conditions after being carefully managed in a greenhouse with relatively good conditions after coming out of the bottle for 2 to 3 months, and their adaptability, disease resistance and survival rate have been greatly improved. it can be planted and survive easily.

3. Dendrobium candidum planting

(1) Environmental requirements

Dendrobium candidum has strict requirements on the environment, and choosing a suitable environment is half of the success of cultivation. Dendrobium candidum should be planted in a humid and cool environment about 800 to 1600 meters above sea level. The suitable temperature for growth is 15: 30 ℃, the suitable growth period is 16: 21 ℃, the night temperature is 10: 13 ℃, the temperature difference between day and night is 10: 15 ℃, the best frost-free period is 250: 300 days, and the annual rainfall is more than 1000 mm. Seedlings are easy to freeze below 10 ℃, and Dendrobium candidum generally begins to fall leaves below 5 ℃. Dendrobium candidum cultivation environment in the air relative humidity of about 80% is suitable, avoid drying, stagnant water, especially in the new bud germination to the formation of new roots need sufficient water. It is appropriate to shade 70% in summer and autumn and 30% in winter. If the light is too strong, the stem will expand and show yellow, the leaves will be yellowish green, and the growth will be slow or stop growing.

(2) facilities requirements

Facility requirements: Dendrobium candidum needs to be planted in the facility environment because of its high environmental requirements. It is possible to build a simple bamboo-wood frame greenhouse or a steel frame greenhouse, but it must be well ventilated and equipped with internal and external shading nets. If the funds are abundant and long-term cultivation of Dendrobium candidum can be considered to build a steel greenhouse with long service life and low repair rate. According to the capital, heat preservation and service life, the plastic film can be made of 12-15 filaments.

Seedbed construction:

Bed planting: a bamboo or steel seedbed with a width of 1.2 to 1.5 meters and a height of about 80 centimeters can be built according to the financial situation, and the seedling bed is equipped with a passage 40 to 50 centimeters wide for daily cultivation operation, and a steel movable seedbed can also be built. the width and height of the bed are similar to the fixed seedbed, but only one passage is needed to increase the utilization rate in the shed. The bottom of the seedbed is covered with 10-12 cm fermented bark, broken wood, sawdust, coconut shell, bagasse, rotten deciduous leaves or moss as cultivation substrate.

Ground planting: the soil needed in the greenhouse is fully dried in the sun and treated with caprylic acid to kill the remaining pests and eggs in the soil. In the shed, a seedbed with a height of 15 cm 20 cm and a width of 1 cm 1.5 m is built with brick or stone. The length depends on the topography, and a layer of gravel 5 cm 10 cm thick is laid on the top. Finally, a layer of 10 cm 12 cm thick is laid. Fermented bark or sawdust, coconut shell, bagasse, mature deciduous leaves or moss are used as cultivation media, and a 40 cm 50 cm wide passage is reserved between the seedbed and the seedbed for daily cultivation operations.

Bed planting is recommended, because bed planting is better than ground planting, it has the advantages of not accumulating water in seedling bed to cause root rot of Dendrobium candidum, reducing snails, slugs, ground tigers and other local insect pests, which is conducive to the healthy growth of Dendrobium.

If long-term cultivation is considered, the selection of cultivation substrate is very important. The accumulated fermented bark, broken wood and sawdust are corrosion resistant and have good air permeability compared with moss, sucrose residue and rotten leaves. It is more suitable for the cultivation of Dendrobium candidum and is an ideal cultivation substrate.

(3) transplanting and planting period management.

Planting: select disease-free, robust and uniform seedlings for planting, and plant the treated seedlings on the substrate according to the specifications of 3-5 plants per clump, 10 cm between plants and 13 cm between rows, and it is appropriate to cover the roots of the matrix completely when planting. Planting is too deep, the leaves at the base are easy to rot and cause diseases, the planting is too shallow, and the growth of the root base is exposed to the air, which is not conducive to the growth of new roots and buds.

Some farmers choose to use cutting, high bud, ramet and other methods to plant Dendrobium candidum, which will be described in detail in the cultivation of rhubarb medicinal Dendrobium, but this kind of propagation method, there are some problems, such as difficult to find provenance, long duration, slow development, no guarantee of survival rate and so on. Dendrobium candidum and Dendrobium candidum, which have formed industrial seedling production, are not recommended.

Temperature: planting domesticated seedlings, the temperature requirements are not as strict as bottle seedlings, the general temperature is not less than 10 degrees, can be cultivated without frost or snow, but the suitable temperature for rapid growth is between 15 and 30 degrees. Generally choose to plant in spring, summer and autumn to avoid planting in winter.

Humidity: 80% of the air relative humidity is better, and the matrix should be "dry and wet", that is, the matrix should be wet when poured, but ensure that the matrix can be "dry" on the same day. Do not pour too much, so that the matrix is always in a wet state or there is stagnant water in the matrix, this situation is very easy to rot roots and dead seedlings. If the relative humidity in the air is too low, the mining uses blade spray, ground sprinkling and other forms to replenish water. The PH value of water should be about 5, not more than 6.5. the water with strong alkalinity (coordination > 7.5) is not conducive to plant growth, or even worsen the growth.
