Astragalus membranaceus, also known as Astragalus membranaceus, is a general term for plants and traditional Chinese medicine. The plant Astragalus membranaceus is produced in Inner Mongolia, Shanxi, Gansu, Heilongjiang and other places. It is a national third-class protected plant and can be planted in most parts of the country.

Astragalus membranaceus is a deep-rooted plant, the plant has a strong ability to resist cold, but avoid heat and waterlogging. It is suitable to be cultivated in sandy soil with deep soil, loose and fertile soil and good drainage. When the air temperature is too high, the plant growth is inhibited; when the soil temperature is high, it often causes root rot, soil viscosity, slow plant growth, short main roots, many lateral roots and low yield. The seed coat of the seed is hard and the water absorption is poor. Seed germination does not like high temperature, when the local temperature is 7-8 degrees, the soil maintains a certain temperature, generally 1-2 weeks can emerge, the suitable temperature for germination is 14-15 degrees. Avoid continuous cropping and should not be cropped with potatoes, Atractylodes macrocephala and chrysanthemum. Heavy saline-alkali land and waterlogged land are not suitable for planting.
