Tripterygium wilfordii is widely used for sowing and propagation, as well as cuttings and ramet breeders. Sowing and reproduction, the pods should be harvested in time when the pods change from green to dark brown in the ripening stage, otherwise the pods will twist and the seeds will easily pop up and lose. The collected seeds are exposed to the sun for several days, dried and stored in an airtight container for the winter. The seeds of Tripterygium wilfordii belong to the type of hard-skinned seeds. Soak the seeds in warm water for 1-2 days before spring sowing, soften the seed coat, make the seeds absorb enough water, fish them out and put them in a warm place to promote germination, and sow when the seeds are white.
