One of the reasons why triangular plum does not blossom: the flowering branches have been trimmed. In other words, cut off the branches that can, for the time being, there are no branches to blossom.

First, the terminal bud continues to grow and pull out a new branch.

After cutting off, it will grow side branches and blossom again.

It takes some time to sprout and grow into flowering branches, which seems to take more than a month.

And there is plenty of water when it rains in summer, and it is easy to wilt and water frequently when it does not rain, so triangular plums do not see flower buds when they grow very short branches in the dry season.

So at this stage, when we see the old branches, some people can't help pruning the new branches before the buds appear. Naturally, they can't blossom.

So why do my three flowers so often, but the shape is so elegant (teeth and claws)? because it is not cut, the terminal bud continues to grow and blossoms again. Terminal buds grow faster than lateral buds.

The seedlings that are blooming now have not been decided in time, and the branches are very long.

The same batch of seedlings of the same breed have been topped and pruned, but we can see that there are many more branches, but they are actually very long. I want to wait for it to blossom. Some people think that the type in the picture above is not good enough and want to continue to hit the top, even less blossom so quickly.
